I’m from the US and I absolutely LOVE that DLP is checking for authentic pins. I wish Disney world would do the same because the boards are just Fulllll of fakes in Florida. :( makes me want to book my next trip to DLP! I came last year for my first trip and didn’t see any trading and very few pins for sale. So excited that it’s picking up. ❤️
This is the best we have seen it in a long time. Pueblos is definitely the place to buy pins, or the shop in Frontierland. We are a bit nervous for our trip to Florida next year, but have a good handle on spotting fakes.

Such a fun trading video! I will forever be jealous of the quality and quantity of good pins on boards and Cast Member lanyards over there in Paris! I’m so sorry to hear some American tourists have come over attempting to trade fakes then being rude when denied. Here in Disney World, pin trading isn’t something Disney pus any effort into besides this one event they host each year in late summer. Cast Members aren’t trained on pin trading at all much less spotting or denying fakes. Because of that, all boards, Cast Member lanyards and pouches are littered with scrappers. Guests not being educated on real vs fake pins plays a role too but others that know are simply taking advantage of the hobby and trading their fake for a good one off the board because no one will stop them. Whenever you all come let us know because we’d love to trade and show you our favorite pin locations!
Thank you so much 😊 Oh I am so sorry it's like this in the USA it must be so frustrating. I really hope Disney will start to step up and train staff in America so everyone can enjoy the experience and start to get rid of those scrapper pins. We love watching others Vlog trading in both Florida and California. We can't wait for our trip in Spring and hope to do lots of trading whilst there 😊

It fits in the larger squarer ones. But, we have not tried in a usual size. We can try when we get home tonight and let you know.

@@nicolethomson596 the mini ones are very small. They would be fine for trading in the parks, but too small for a pin event - well for us anyway, we filled 2 just with the ones we wanted to keep 🤣

Really enjoy all your pin trading videos! Haven’t done it before but I have bought some of Stewpins mini boards with traders suitable for DLP to take on our 4 day trip in October. My kids and I are really looking forward to it, glad to hear they are adding more boards and more staff trained and involved!
Your videos are very helpful. Do you have a list anywhere of where the big boards are and what times they are out? I know about the Pueblo trading post one being 2-4 on weekends, what time and places are the other ones? I didn’t quite understand where the one in this video was, but I haven’t been before so I’m not very knowledgeable. Thanks again so much!

Thank you for the videos! We are visiting DLP from the US in the fall & were curious what pins you would recommend we bring? Any specific character pins that are popular? Anything from the US parks that traders are looking for? Our home park is Disneyland in CA. Appreciate your insights! ☺️
Hello 😊 ooo you're going to have an amazing trip! Stitch is very popular in France and then anything that is exclusive to the US parks trades really well with the traders who sit outside Pueblos.

They don't tell you a time, and just say the afternoon. On this trip, all three big boards were just after 3pm. Over our past few trips we have found it is usually 2pm or 3pm and the best way to find out is to ask a cast member with a Pin Lanyard in the relevant shop.

Very fun video - do you know how much the small/larger pin bags are that disney sell and any idea what amount pins each is designed for? Thanks
Hello, it will entirely depend on the size of the pins. They vary so wildly, that it would be hard to say for sure.
In terms of price, the small ones are €25 or €30 and the large ones are about €50 - the prices keeps going up unfortunately.
We would recommend a pin folio over these, as it is so much easier to use. These can be brought in the UK from Stew Pins

Hello. Love the video. I wanted to ask just to make sure, the large pin boards only come out on weekends?
Hello, aww thank you ☺️ so, there Re now 3 large pin boards. The main one in Pueblos only comes out on weekends, but the two new ones in Emporium and the Studios shop come out every day! 😍
Have they changed the rules at DLP? When I went last year they wouldn’t let me trade any of my pins (all legit) at the board by cowboy cookout. I couldn’t understand why as the cast member’s English wasn’t great and my French is non-existent. Still to this day I don’t know what I was doing wrong and never had any issues at the US parks. Going back in a couple of weeks so will definitely bring my pin book with me as it looks like the set up has improved!
They can be really picky with the board in Pueblos. It must be like for like, (open edition, limited edition, cast refresh etc) and the pin must not already be on the board. But then they can also just be picky 🤣 we have been told no a few times on that board. The others are a lot more relaxed - just no fakes. We hope you have an amazing trip and get to pin trade 😍

Hopefully they'll stay on the ball with fakes. I always think the boards look so 'boring' in American videos because they have the same scrappers on each one and no variety or interesting pins.
From what we were told, they are very on top of it. Lots of training is being given to the cast members and they have been refusing fakes. 🤞it stays like that!
I went in july and they were checking the pins a lot!
