    Wow...what kind of salak do you plant there? In Indonesia there is few famous varieties of salak, salak Bogor ( i guessed originally from Bogor and salak gula pasir ( sugar salak from Karangasem Bali) those are my favorite one. How can I have it in Los Angeles CA?

    I have a question, what kind of soul does it like to grow in? And is it more sensitive to frost.

    • @thesnakefruit3063
      @thesnakefruit3063 5 років тому

      The soil structure for optimum growth needs to be sandy, argillaceous, and rich in organic materials. Don't know if it is sensitive or not to frost, maybe you should try experimenting with it.

    how much it takes to fruit from the seed ?

    • @thesnakefruit3063
      @thesnakefruit3063 5 років тому

      8-10 years if you plant it from seeds (vegetative). 3-5 years if you plant it from the babies (saplings) or technically known as grafting (generative). Also it will depend on the cultivar & its varieties.

    • @ulrichtjinliepshie20
      @ulrichtjinliepshie20 3 роки тому

      3-4 years from seed,mine are 3 years and started bearing fruits
