Having Aventurine on any team just makes building Harmony characters way easier, where they just focus on their primary buff stat instead of worrying about hp/def. While you can argue that the difference between 3.5k and 4k atk is minimal, as someone who loves min-maxing, I want to squeeze every bit of damage she can buff, as well as her additional damage during her ult state
Not only that, but her buffs are teamwide, so having two carries getting more 100/200 more atk on both adds a lot during cycles, especially since she also does damage and scales of that buffs. And the survivability isn’t even a problem by just upgrading relics, he just likes to justify his mid build.

If you're running vonwaqc for the err (not many phys units for penacony) then atk boots is really the only option 65% action advance at the start + spd boots imo is way too much (65% AV advance can actually be clutch in many scenarios like getting a second turn before ice fatty summons ads and slows your units)
Kinda depend on how you want to time her ultimate and get her first ultimate. If you want to use her ultimate right after your dps move and didn't want (or can't) to use tingyun to charge her then vonwach + speed boost alone is not really enough.
99% people don't really build any character including Kafka past 160 spd, so Robin does not need more than 121 speed. She has little use for any stat beside atk err (can only get from main stats) and some defensive stats (which is irrelevant if you have well-built team anyway, as Robin's teams aim for very low cycle runs). 121 is extremely easy to achieve. Other than that, atk% is the only relevant stats, so even if we overbuild it it would not matter at all. Also you have her sig LC so she's still strong even if built wrong. If you indeed have multiple 160+ spd characters, then it means you have built them extremely well, and is aiming for 1 cycle. This means defensive stats are irrelevant. If you cannot do 1-2 cycles then it means you overbuild in speed and it's not efficient.
@@yuujin8194nah I'd say don't bother with atk, especially when you have her sig lc, 3.6k atk with that spd is great provided that your black swan is also built for speed. Also if your 180 spd helps breaking some spd breakpoints then it's all better

HouHou gives a 40% ATK buff that can be maintained on Robin at all times. And don't forget about the fact that 3 extra moves of HouHou is one extra ultimates from her in battle. Her synergy with Robin is incredible, and I was also able to get 40 stacks of arcana in MOC thanks to Robin.
I feel like people just like to oversell aventurine, since on paper huohuo is the sustainer that benefits her the most. She’s less comfortable to play, but offers much more to a fully built team. Sadly, the western Honkai community undervalues her a lot.

Laughing at your characters hyperfocusing an already dead enemy on autoplay and still getting 80k is the most Code thing I've seen in a good while. 😂 I'm normally squeaking past the 60k mark on sweaty manual.
I see your point with characters like sparkle and tingyun, but the difference between them and Robin is that she’ll be using that attack way more than that speed if you build her right because she’ll be in concerto way more than not. So speed is a dead stat on her a lot of the time, especially considering when she does use it she’s only accelerating how fast her buffs run out, and you want to hold your burst for when everyone takes their action anyways, so frontloading energy is meaningless. Even with ruan mei there’s an argument to be made that BE is always better than speed because of how you run your own buffs out. You can only really take advantage of that speed if your dps is super speedy like topaz or seele, and even then it’s mostly a waste unless you want to 0 cycle. This obviously doesn’t apply to sparkle because of her action advance, but I think I’ve made my point. Tl;dr: building past 143 speed on most harmonies, 121 for Robin can be beneficial, but only on super sweaty zero cycle builds that most people don’t use. Other stats that your supports scale off of will always be used regardless of what content and teams you do/use, so those should be prioritized.
Giving her more speed might help with her personal energy regen outside of her ult state, since sometimes I find her exiting her ult state under half the max energy on Bronya's LC + ERR + Vonwacq even with Clara/Aventurine/Topaz, it's weirdly inconsistent.
@@RyougiVector if you really want her to have more consistent ults, Aventurine (or any Preservation sustain) can't compete with a QPQ abundance sustain. Even better if its Huohuo, Gallagher, or Luocha.
If she is the only buffer on the team, how is spd a dead stat? I got 137spd on mine without spd boots and achieved 3600Atk with 1500Def, and plenty of Eff Resistance with an ER rope.
You can get up to a 1400 atk (possibly more idk its the highest I've seen so far) buff with all atk main stats and 2p/2p and while receiving atk buffs from another unit. You can increase her damage dealt with res pen and def shred as well as damage buffs on robin. She can do 50k additional damage if you have this kind of a set up. Ideally, you want her team mates to hit double the spd of her concerto to ensure you gain energy to maintain 100% uptime. Although, I've only found this to be true if you have her lc.
50k a hit from concerto procs? or total per ult usuage? my Robin does 90K dmg every ult usage (6 attacks give or take from 3 teammates each doing 15k procs) I can get another 30k when I take her traces past lvl 6 so 120k every ult usuage and that with no defense shred or res pen 200k per ult usuage on FUA team
All I know that I enjoy Playing her with TingYun and Houhou + Ratio. You can also spam Benediction on her it adds Attk though it's not really necessary but the current MoC buff make it possible.
Considering that i run my Robin with pretty reliable sustains like my ok-built HuoHuo, Mrs.(how.df.does.he.heal.that.much)Gallager or Gepard, i dont really see the point on making Robin that beefy. And if you have Aventurine makes even less sense imo. Unless you're building a Jingliu, Acheron or Feixiao HC team with no sustain, but in these cases the main goal is to end the fight b4 the enemy has the chance to do actual dmg. If you're able to do a low speed built, I would really recommend getting that extra dmg on shoes, even if its not that much, it would most likely be more effective than a 2k def head-winged singer. Also, if you miss the event LC it will be available on herta's shop on the next patch i think
