Brent is an independent artist, the pen at the beginning is a ''sign'' of his choices not to sign anything (with labels) during his rise to fame the last few years. Brent is a unbelievable example of how artist can rise to ''a bigger platform'' while managing all of his own masters. I feel like PgLang is going to do something revolutionary in this industry.
Yes! The “Y’all Blew It” is for the record labels who wanted to give him a shitty contract. They blew it because his talent is amazing and they missed out.

When he says "You'll blew it" he isn't talking to his audience, he was talking to the various labels and industry friends he has developed over the years. They are the ones that prematurely released his music. You're welcome.
I think the whole point of the background voices is that essentially he isn’t solo, only in the physical is he solo but in the mental he isn’t which relates to a lot of us, in the physical we may be alone, but in our minds we got.. well us

Brent said in his recent interview this is about the fact sometimes things are better solo and people can just come in and fuck up the vibe. Thats why when the clapping started and messed up his beat he said "yall blew it" Its kind of ironic that people are just under here demanding an album cuz in a way youre misrepresenting the message of the song. Guys I literally have been trying to find the meaning behind this ever since it was uploaded and I’ve finally got it,he’s trying to convey him being solo and coming up randomly with his own songs in his head without no creative direction,then he hears other people singing songs that he created but didn’t release yet (leaks)he looses focus and gets frustrated that yall didn’t just let him release it naturally.
No. That’s not it. Brent Faiyaz is an independent artist who owns all his music. Which is what they mean by “solo.” The pen symbolizes him not signing to any major record label and the fact that those who wanted to sign him gave him crappy deals/contracts. So this is why he decided to stay solo/independent instead of signing. The “Y’all blew it” is telling the record labels how they fucked up and missed out because he’s super talented and for an independent artist who’s doing everything on this own he’s very successful.

the thing i like so much about this video is that it's very subjective and while i agree with you i also think:
he comes in solo (meaning he's an independent artist) and she says she understands that he doesn't want a label to take ownership of what he's made.
And him using the pen to make music in his mind is him creating something independently, plus him creating something that is without a labels guidance (like when artists turn more pop after getting signed and labels ask for a pop single to push album sales and radio hits).
Finally him saying that we blew it is him talking to other artists who signed and are now stuck in their labels.
I want to hear more of this😭😭😭

Alright this is what I think it means.
As she’s leaving she says “I think I know” why he comes on solo, though he really doesn’t. We are constantly being downplayed by others guesses about who we are, as she predicted he didn’t have many friends or a lover. The camera then showed his jewelry and a professional looking pen, showing that he is of class and rich of some sorts. He is independent and he can clearly do things on his own, but when other people started seeing him do ‘good’ from a beat, rather than do ‘bad’ by going in the store solo, then they tried to join along. Singing along to his beat until he said “Y’all blew it.” Meaning he was better off alone without anybody.
