About Jackson:
Jackson began back in the late 1970s, when heavy music experienced a flamboyant and virtuosic resurgence in popularity and a small Southern California guitar repair shop became the epicenter of a new level of shred-approved excellence. Ever since then, Jackson guitars have been universally lauded as the metal guitars; the shred machines-highly original high-performance instruments of distinctive style and formidable substance. From metal’s chart-topping peaks to its darkest recesses, for discerning guitarists all over the globe, Jackson is the only way to go.

Phil is so AWESOME !!
I'm really sad that they stopped making this :(
Alex a lot of good jackson guitars are discontinued ! Unfortunately
I need one of these in my life...
This dude is awesome
i have alot of v guitars but this one is a all around good guitar for all your need i love mine
I have 5 of these and they are all awesome, i have the 2 pros and the 2 floyd x models but that red hardtail is my go to
Thank you Jackson for making my beautiful Japanese Jackson SL3 Neck-Thru, it’s gorgeous and I love the sound of it! Thank you, Jackson!

I wouldn't mind adding one of these axes to my collection, but I'd probably swap out the EMG's for a pair of Seymour Duncans -- the tried-and-true JB and Jazz combination.
I wouldn't see these as a first guitar. more like for people who can't afford super expensive guitars. So pros could just as easily play these
Cool dood!!!
my first guitar was a starter pack peavey raptor came with an amp and everything I needed all for $199.99 at my local music shop I did see a Demmelition king v but it was too expensive so I went with a Randy Rhoads
Neck through on a budget guitar? You sure about that Phil?
I used to have a X series RR and it was without a doubt a neck through.
Seems I am a few years late on this and the guitars are discontinued. Great 👍
Im little confused...i have the floydrose special on my demmellition, but the mics are emg hz...
Play some violence Phil!!!
Jackson does neck through on budget guitars? That's pretty sick. I wonder if it's only a one peice though. I'd hate to have a neck through one peice neck...the neck would probably move around a shit load in humidity changes...that would just be asking for a warped neck to happen. Neck throughs should be no less than 3 piece.
Riffin' Remmy any neck thrus I've seen from Jackson in this price range are 1 piece. I'm impressed with Ibanez tbh, my Xiphos (one of the few budget neck thrus they ever did) is 5 piece and looks gorgeous with the paint stripped. Not that I'd ever strip the chameleon red/green paint off mine xD
I’m in Canada anyone know where to find one of these
I'd like to see a LP style 3 way toggle switch, instead of the strat style toggle switch.
Can you hang Jackson guitars on standard wall stands? The headstock looks like it would go diagonal. I just put a deposit on a King V and really need to know, thanks.
Have you found an answer to your question? I see this on every Jackson video
JeffTheDudeAbides I found 2 answers, just wanted to be sure :)
I use Hercules wall hangers..all i own are Jacksons and the hangers swivels both ways to level off and straighten odd headstocks like Jacksons
Mike Are thanks
What are the differences between PDX and PDX-2, could anyone please tell me?
Floyd rose and 81/60 pickups
wow .. the x series much more appealing to me ... no Floyd is good
Am I the only one that thinks the audio levels on this vid were really low?
No, you're right. They are a bit low.
They didn't go to video production school.
Hey Phil should be Detroit Redwings red lol
X series is discontinued?
So mine had the red headstock with the same Floyd rose is mine a higher series bc I seen it listed as that
It is the red one
@@yeeyee9759 I have one with a red headstock too. Did you ever find out?
@@paddytguitar yeah man it is the higher end model I think retail was around $2000
@@yeeyee9759 Jesus. Got it for 600
it seems that the neck is a bit thicker than before?
