For instance, in the future med students will be able to perform practice surgeries and get a full look at the human anatomy with things like VR and AR. But everything in life has a balance. And right now our world is out of balance and lives in extremes. People throw themselves away on social media and become consumed by their phones every waking second. Not enough people take the time to meet up with others in real life anymore or really LIVE in the moment when they are with them (the number of times I've been in a public place and everyone is staring at their phones and not talking to one another). And it's a fact that corporations are literally farming every single detail about us, and using it for their own gains. It gets even more nefarious when you realize how much our news and information are controlled by bots. I also strongly believe that a lot of the fighting we see on social media is actually manufactured. Groups that want cultures to fall apart and fight each other. The point is, that Gerard is right to tap into this feeling of being "free and alive". Concerts are still a magical thing, where people from all walks of life come together in one place to share their love of the same things. One of my favorite things about concerts (pre-covid), was getting to talk to strangers and make friends at shows. Even if you didn't in contact after the show, it's amazing getting to talk to someone else and share in that bonding experience.

The thing is that it should be on the right places. Social media as an instrument of communication for us. And the feeling of being alive, really living this moment through - at this moment when we wanna actively perceive and experience. And they shouldn't replace each other. I just know this feeling when you are very much alive, maybe over the normal average level. When you see the leaves in the wind or your cats eyes and you deeply feel the fragile greatness of existence. I still appreciate nature and performances in my life. When people express themselves through art - it's very healthy and also about being alive, especially when you have that possibility to feel deeply and on the edge.

It's in the terms and conditions you agree to when you sign up for accounts. Plus everytime you use instagram you're adding to an algorithm based on your likes, your viewing habits, etc. that will then cause instagram to show you more content and advertising like that to try to keep you on the app.

I haven't been to a concert in years but i go to church and that's too loud for me. I don't think i would be able to go to a concert and enjoy it without being overstimulated. Being able to watch clips of this tour on yt has been wonderful for me. I am able to enjoy it. To some degree it almost doesnt feel like dystopia, it feels like a bit like accessibility Unfortunately, a lot of the virtual world idea is being pioneered by fvcking zuckerberg and that does feel like dystopia and i do not care for that.

I used to be very sensitive to noise when I was younger and going to public movie theaters really stressed my ears and was way too loud to enjoy. I wouldn’t have been able to go to a concert during that time but I think I’m gonna be okay now :) I love watching the parts of the concerts online too though!

Gerard said he sobered up in 17 days and thats not how it works, and anyone going through a program will tell you that. Its not my opinion, but from those I talked to about this who are recovering. Whenever the band is together playing he relapses and his behaviors on stage just make me worry his anxieties are taking over.
