Andrii Sybiha to take over Ukrainian Foreign Ministry | Marta Prochwicz

Deputy Foreign Minister, Andrii Sybiha, is rumored to take over as Ukraine's top diplomat following Dmytro Kuleba’s resignation. However, the Ukrainian parliament has yet to accept Kuleba’s decision. At least seven ministers and other high-ranking officials submitted their resignations earlier this week, and a presidential aide was fired. About a third of the positions in the cabinet are now vacant. Zelenskyy’s opposition are criticizing the reshuffle as a power grab aiming to staff important positions with loyalists. Zelenskyy’s official term in office ended in May, but due to Ukraine being under martial law, presidential elections have been postponed. Marta Prochwicz, Deputy Head of the Warsaw Office of the European Council on Foreign Relations joins us today to discuss these developments.
