Nice video man 👍I prefer OBS studio as well, even though I used mostly Streamlabs for all the plugins, built in chat etc., but as soon as I switched to OBS studio, stream ran much easier as it needs less PC power than streamlabs, I had better performance in games while output was same if not even better than previously with streamlabs.

No matter what I was trying to do to fix the settings of the output, the recording, the video, none of it seemed to work and my streams kept coming out at 30fps. Which is annoying. Is OBS easy to setup when it comes to adding in your webcam frame, positioning things, etc??
I have (gaming) friends that use ‘stream labs’ and was wondering which was better/easier/etc, it or OBS, but as others have commented already, in 2 mins U have helped me make my choice as well as gotten a 👍 and a new sub; now I’m gonna be giving more 👍s, as i will be referring to Ur Channel to learn even more. good video! should also note for people new to streaming stream labs has had a rough history of plagiarizing other peoples work and asks for the ability on sign up be able to have full access to your YT to the point where they can delete videos id much prefer obs way more trusted.

Hi, just watched your video.... I have one big "con" with OBS that prevents me from using it unfortunately. I use a Mac, and there are issues with audio in OBS for Mac when streaming. The Global Devices in audio is always set to "disabled" and I can not hear any audio. It comes through when streaming, but I can't hear it, and I need to in order to have some control with my audio. Unfortunately there is no fix for this. (There is sort of one, but it costs money). So because of this, I had to dump OBS and go with Streamlabs. If it weren't for this, I'd have stuck with OBS.

Thanks for the comparison. I noticed that I got sever capture-issues with Streamlabs OBS, unlike OBS Studio. Which is kinda disappointing, because I got my whole setup on Streamlabs (Overlays etc) unlike OBS Studio. Question for you: if I get a Capture Card, could that work out as a solution (or workaround) to the Capture issue? I just cant get it to work with Streamlabs. :/ I tried to apply every other fix or recommended solution, that I've found on reddit, uTube, etc. but Streamlabs fails to capture my video games.

Hello so for obs studio I recently have been having problems with no mic audio being heard in recorded videos or streams, I have watched about 15 or more videos about various settings and nothing seems to work. I do have desktop audio just no mic audio, the other thing I did notice before the audio went away completely was that recorded audio was also lower than when I was monitoring it, the monitoring audio was beyond loud any help or tips would be appreciated
I switched from SLOBS to OBS Studio, and I had a very noticeable drop in the quality of video on my stream. No matter what I change I cannot get it to improve. Any ideas?

I love OBS Studio but i bought a Mic and OBS produces a static noise everytime that I speak. It only happens on OBS and I dont know why.
