Jamie, where have you been all my life!?? Better put, where have I been? I guess under a rock somewhere in the deep woods! Even though I love to watch a musician's face when they are playing to see the emotions run across it, I had to listen to "Wonder of You" with my eyes closed. It was truly awesome! Just beautiful. I could listen to you all night which I pretty much have for its now 6 am! Time very well spent. Thanks for sharing your gift! Closing the jam out now with "True". 🤗

Jamie: On your rendition of "The Nearness of You " I can hear the sound and style of "Boots Randolph. " Kudos to you!!! Others might not think that is a compliment, he was known for so MUCH more than his signature Yakety.

@@GetYourSaxTogether as it was intended! That man had some serious style unlike anyone else. Other things he hammed up a lot for the Nashville scene, but the standards were so sultry and full of swagger. But I liked how in the remainder of the track you shifted gears and revved it up more!

Thank you Jamie. That was beautiful and moving! I love this tune, and thanks for the appropriate visual back-drop. (I also like Chad LB's recording, as well as the Michael Brecker/James Taylor version. Norah Jones' is nice, but lacks a sax.) Although I appreciate all your videos, this was awesome.
Good choice of other tracks! Don't forget the Rolling Stones version from Live Licks (which makes up for the Rod Stewart version)! Sung by Keith Richards in his most a-melodic voice.
