Thank you for your commentary on this. I am a Christian and believe in annihilation. However, if you are a Christian as well, I suggest quoting The Word of God because it actually has the answers on this subject. I don't believe it's wise to quote a "church father" and an athiest philosopher without quoting the source that actually has the answers.

I was trying to take a philosophical position rather than a dogmatic one. Most non-believers don’t really care what the Bible has to say so I thought it was better to quote philosophers who used reason to find answers.

I hate the idea of universalism, I’ve seen many atheists and satanists openly mock God, and mock Jesus, and it’s so frustrating and disgusting. And the fact that people think they deserve to obtain God’s kingdom, in the SAME place that those who love God with all their heart will be in, is just completely unfair. If people have the right to blaspheme God and hate Him, then God has every right to reject them from His kingdom.
I can understand why people would want universalism, because they have empathy for others and don’t want others to suffer, but what about empathy for God’s feelings? People say such nasty things towards God, so many people say they wanna outright abolish religion and it’s so wicked. Does God love us? Yes, of course He does, but He is righteous, far more righteous than all of us, and our sinful fleshy minds are never going to surpass God’s rightousness, to accuse him of being unfair.
