seriously bro half of the artist you mentioned can't sing their classics or they tuned down or hell they weren't even difficult to sing paul mccartney never had a huge range of high notes he just had a good voice

Daryl no longer can hit the high notes. Rather than singing he sounds like hes talking the song thru. I guess age really cought up with him. It doesn't happen with every singer when they get old. So sad.
he's 68 so he's entitled to not hit the high notes anymore. they sounded good at the 29th RnR Hall of Fame induction, but aside from how they sound now, they gave us 30-35 yrs of excellent music !! thank G*D for them

holy cow. I didn't know he was 68. I had to check, but it's true.
If you will listen to the other songs from this concert you will be able to tell that he is struggling on this song. After an abbreviated version of the song, they abruptly take a break. This is probably what happens when he is starting to feel symptoms of the Lyme disease he contracted in 2006. That he is still kicking it after having contracted this debilitating disease is amazing to me. Listen to the other songs of this Troubadour concert and his voice and performance are just as good as ever, if not better.

440Hz is relentless pitch to sing in and you often tune down a half note when singers are around the 45 year mark.. We need to go back to at last 435Hz (20 cents flat). AN EASIER Pitch that thet should perform in today is verdis A4 at 432Hz. Passaggios Lies at the correct place
He should try C4=256Hz (A4=430.54Hz),, This 37 cents detune is all that is really needed on most voices. as the passaggio line up nicely.. SO tuning the guitar to A4=430Hz instead of A4=440Hz (-39.7 cents) pretty much solves the "getting too old to sing my old material"..

Just saw them 2014 and Daryl can't sing those notes anymore.. disappointing show aside from that, feedback, only played for 90 mins
Where about did u see them? were u that dissapointed? I think he kinda lost alot of his passion for gong on the road once T Bone died. RIP T Bone
