『海苔とかならよかったのにね』が不意討ち過ぎて笑った
……のは別に良いんだけど笑った瞬間何故か泣けてきた。堰を切ったように泣けてきた
悪い大人の隠してるような隠してないような分からない本音(秘密)を歳を重ねて薄々感じ取れるようになってきて、幼い頃に信じてきた優しい世界なんて幻想だったんだなってやっと飲み込めてきた。私なりの勝手な解釈と共感だけど、こういう歌がある事で少し救われる。
この曲の物語の部分もすごく素晴らしいけど、歌っていることの本質はとても共感できる人も多いんじゃないかな…
「大人になれば全部忘れられると思うけど...」
って、大人(ロボット)にされて記憶消されるってことかな？
この二人は唯一の子供であり人間。ロボットになるという理を無視してずっと子供でいる二人だけが、宇宙に隠された「秘密」を探ることができるのだ。

約束は再会の｢約束しよう｣で出てきてるし、秘密は約束の｢世界の秘密を知ろうとした｣って歌詞で出てきてるんだよね
作品の世界観が連綿と繋がってる感じ好きだな

ホント毎回思うんだけどこの可愛いデザインの中にストーリーの闇とカッコよさぶちこみすぎてて天元突破するんだが
3:45の「人の正義もどうせ人の数だけあるんだろう」って歌詞、初めて聴いた時に衝撃を受けたな。MVが互いに補色の青と橙色を基調に作られているのも凝ってるし美しい。
約束と再会の間のお話なのかな…
追記:約束は服に七、秘密は服に七七、再会は七七七と書いてあるのでそれぞれ7歳、14歳、21歳のお話なのではと考察。

世界観的に実際呼吸が普通に難しい環境に生きてるからこの歌詞じゃないですかね、もちろん生き方を問う意味もありそうですけど
それぞれ呼吸の意味が違う気がした
とりあえず呼吸関連→鬼滅のパクリだ！ってオチをやめた俺を評価してくれ
『彗星になれたなら』では、
｢ただ息を吸うガラクタになれば笑える時もあるかな｣と、｢呼吸よりも当然なあなたの笑顔だけが解っている｣という歌詞がありますね…。
軽くPVから考察してみる。
ピンクの子が持っている地球儀、徐々に中の青い液体が減って行っています。
この地球儀が組み立てられたシーンの歌詞が「世界が秘密で作られているなら」となっており、この青い液体は「秘密」を表しているのでは？と考えられる。
恐らく、中の液体が減っていくという事は、秘密が暴かれているという事でしょう。
そして、同じ青色で表された物があります。それはPV中の登場人物全員の「目」です。この青い目が何を表しているのか。恐らく、この世界は私達の住む世界より未来の世界であり、科学技術もかなり発展していると思われます。(再会での大型飛行船や奇抜な形の建物群など)そして、ラスサビでピンクの子が青目の異形を頭を飛ばした際、「青い」液体と共に切断面にケーブルが見えた事から、世界の殆どの人が機械に置き換わっていると考えられます。そして、人が機械に置き換わる事が世界の「秘密」なのではないでしょうか。しかし、ピンクの子の出てくるシーンは全て目の色が青ではありません。
何故か。
それは彼女は彼ら異形や金髪の子とは違う秘密を持っているから、と考えられます。それは彼女が幼く、「まだ」人である事。彼女は自分がまだ人である事を隠して船に乗り込んだのではないでしょうか。その証拠として、常にフードを深く被り、異形が居るシーン(0:45辺り)では目を瞑り目の色を隠しています。また、メタい推理にはなりますが、はるまきごはん本人が歌うPVではピンクの子が、ごはん家のミクさんが歌うPVでは金髪の子が主人公として進んでいく事も関係していると思われます。
ここで少し話を戻します。再会、約束でも歌詞にあった「大人になりたくない」というフレーズ、これまで私の考察を踏まえると、これは大人になると機械にされ、皆同じ考え、一色に染められる事を恐れていると考えられます。だから某蛇の如くスニーキングミッションをピンクの子はしているのだと思います。
一つ、謎が浮かびます。それは金髪の子についてです。彼女は機械側の人間に囚われている姫様のように見えますが、彼女の中身は機械なのか、人なのかという事です。この曲の歌詞に
「信じてなんて無いかもね 愛してなんて無いかもね」
とあります。これは、お互いがお互いを信頼し切れていない→まだ何かを隠しているとも捉えられます。また、曲の最後では
「信じてなんて無いからね 愛してなんて無いからね」
と歌詞が変わっています。そして、ニコニコのPVの最後、金髪の子は何かを企んでいそうな笑みを浮かべるのも気になる所です。
PVの途中、2人の子の目に何かキラキラした物が出てきます。これは恐らく約束のPVにあった流星群を用いて、約束を思い出した、もしくは約束の時を告げる合図を表しているのではないでしょうか。
そして、この流星群の記憶が2人の共通の「秘密」なのではないでしょうか。
もう一つ、PV中2:25〜2:32辺りにかけて、約束で出てきたくじらがおにぎりに切り替わるシーンが出てきます。この少し前のシーンの歌詞に「だんだん大人の匂いになってそんな事は諦めた」とあります。これは、夢を追う事を諦め、生きる為に必要な事→ご飯を食べる事を優先するようになった、と捉えられます。
以上、気になる事をただつらつらと並べただけなので前後に脈絡が無かったりしますが、あくまでも「軽く」考察する前提なので許してお兄さん()
ふと思ったんですけど、UA-camとニコニコで主人公が変わること、こっちをはるまきごはんさんという人間が歌っていて、ニコニコの方をミクさんという機械が歌っていることも何か関係があるのかもしれないですね。そこから考えると金髪の子は機械なのかも。

Don't think anyone mentioned it yet, but the niconico version finally could sing in unison with the vocal version. In earlier songs, they were a minor second apart, but now it's an octave. EDIT: Seems like 約束 is also in octaves, only reunion clashes.

3:43 空と血の色が逆になってるのかな〜、綺麗な曲
1:04 これ機械と人間の指紋だから、藍の子はロボットと結婚することになったんだと思う。
At 3:29 in the Hatsune Miku version, the yellow girl' eyes are completely colored in the bright blue that we see in the video whereas in this version they are blue but not bright. My theory is that it means that the yellow girl already became an adult , probably? It would make sense since due to her position she's seen interacting with adults almost all of the time whereas the blue girl is like an outcast, isolated, she ends becoming an adult at 4:01 (there's a glimpse of the bright blue in her eyes). In the end they both didn't stay as children like they promised to each other in saikai and the promise.
I mean, growing up is bound to happen but it's kinda sad if you think about it. At least it seems like they have finally been able to reunite.
Yeah it makes sense!! Also they are crossing fingers at photos of eachother, crossing fingers may mean invalidating a promise. (I read it on wiki lol)
also, in both promise and this one the pink girl is always carried or supported when they are traveling in the dreamlike state 2:08, but in the yellow girl's version she is always standing by herself or walking on her own feet.
@Soul Elric nice catch! i first thought that the yellow girl didn’t even have the little bot since it didn’t carry her like it does to the other girl, but you can see at 1:38 on the miku version that she does have it! So I definitely think it’s important that the yellow girl isn’t using the bot and is supporting herself :)
一貫して声の切なさは変わらないけど、再会、約束とは違うのは何処と無く子供っぽさがあったのがもう大人になってしまったみたいなしっとりした歌い方になっていて本当に切なくて切ない(語彙)
ピンクの女の子の服に「七七」って書いてあるのを見ると約束の時は「七」で再会の時は「七七七」だったから時間軸的には約束と再会の間の物語なのかな？
それめっちゃ考えてました..!!!この「七」ってもしかしたら年齢かな？って予想しててます。

【自分用考察メモ】
『約束』ずっとこどものままで居よう
・青い目、青色の表現→秘密:大人になるにつれて夢を殺し、本音を隠すようになり、嘘や秘密で塗り固められた姿になる
MV中のフードを被った機械たち(大人の暗喩と思われる)が青い目をしているのはこの状態であるから
藍色の子もフードを被っているのは、周囲の人に合わせて大人になろうとする振りをするためであるが、『約束』を忘れずにいる
・金髪の子はなぜお姫様なのか
隣に並ぶ機械(おそらく影響力が大きい大人:親)に監視、操作されて無理やり大人にされようとしている囚われの立場であるから
藍色の子は"二人で"『約束』を果たしたかった。でも金髪の子が『約束』を捨てて大人になることを選んだように見えてしまった(1:19の、機械と一緒に写る描写より)。金髪の子がどう思ってるのかは分からない。もしかしたら、自分と同じように大人になる振りをしていて、『約束』を捨てて無いのかもしれない。その一縷の望みをかけて藍色の子は金髪の子に会いに行った。けれども"たった一つを信じることはとても簡単なことじゃない"から、幼い頃『約束』を交わした金髪の子を"信じてなんか無いし、愛してなんか無い"と、まるで自分を諭すように言い訳している。
それは金髪の子も同じ思いだった。『秘密』ではお互いに疑惑を抱いている状態だった。(ミクver.より)
その後二人の『約束』は果たされたのか？

最後のシーン、UA-cam版ではピンクの女の子は少し悲しそうな顔をしてて、ニコニコ動画版の金髪の女の子は半目で微笑んでるのはどうしてだろ...深くてすごくいい...

｢約束｣で、クジラは願いとか何もかも乗せているものとして描かれていて、今回そのクジラが小さい本の中にいる。
この小さい本が、幼い頃読んでいた本の思い出なのだとしたら、今(この動画で描かれている年齢の頃)はもう宇宙の真理を探ること？を諦めてしまったから
思い出の1ページ(=過去のこと)になっているのかな……
あと、宇宙がふたりきり食べたおにぎりの海苔とかなら良いのにね って、
この曲において｢世界｣は冷たいもの、｢宇宙｣は広くてすべてを受け止めてくれるような(？)場所 のように表現されていて
だからこそ、そんな冷たい世界を宇宙がそっと包み込んでくれたらいいのに
という意味が込められているんじゃないかなぁとか考えてしまいました…

「秘密」は認知も理解もされないからこそ「秘密」。
「ふたりで一つの秘密になろう」っていうのは、「人の正義が人の数だけある」ことを知っていて、だから理解されないことも解ってるけどそれでもふたりで「子供のままでいる」っていう約束を貫きたかったのかな。
だからそれを暴けるのは約束を交わした「幼いふたり」だけなのかも。
はるまきごはんさんの曲の中の「ふたり」って凄く好き。今回も全力でリピります(･ิω･ิ)

I swear you have the spark that many other artists lately have been missing. Not dissing other artist of the craft, but I feel like Harumaki Gohan have been evolving in a way that sticks close to how I found them and not in a style that varied so much that it become kinda foreign. For example, for me it was Reol and Yorushika/nbuna.

登場キャラ(ナナとリリ)が女の子だから、そりゃそうなんだけど、歌ってるはるまきごはんさんが第三者(客観)ってことがとても良い。この曲の世界の住民視点の歌詞だけど、それをあくまで代弁してるに過ぎないちょっと隔絶したところがあるからこそ、遠い世界のファンタジー感が増すし、そうなってくるとミクver.の"機械さ"は主観としてのファンタジーにさらに異質な説得力を持たせているなあという
2回くらい集中して見て聞いて、コメ欄開いて色んな人の考察みるのが好き。 そして「宇宙がふたりきり食べたおにぎりの海苔とかなら良いのにね」 この歌詞が凄く不思議かつ惹かれる部分でした！

I just love how his vocal version is on youtube while the miku version is on nicovideo kinna make a metaphor for the character living in different world. It just make the story telling way more cooler

I feel like the secret these two are keeping is that they're in love with eachother. With lines like "if my secrets were exposed my classmates would probably run away from me" and "well we all have one or two secrets, right?" and "if only the world was just the two of us" and "I thought I'd be able to forget it all once I grew up!", it seems really plausible! Pink girl ends up stopping the arranged marriage, basically saying "everyone has their own sense of what's right and wrong, so let's just keep this secret between us". And then at the end it seems to say something about these two being exposed, so it might mean that they're uncloseted. Cause of all of this, I believe with certainty that they hold romantic feelings for eachother.
this makes a lot of sense, because in the context of the entire album it's *incredibly* clear that they're in love
like there's literally a song that's named after Yellow Girl (Lili) that's just an angst-ridden gay apology for leaving Pink Girl (Nana) and how Lili loves Nana so much that it makes her want to cry
The description of the song Reunion in GenEi AP seems to confirm their feelings

I’m gonna try to make a theory about this series so far:
Basically this the future where the girls could not keep their promise that they made. I say just because they are crossing fingers, which means to get rid of a promise.
This was the future that they wanted to avoid. Becoming adults and being separated by the roles of society.
My theory is that this isn’t an actual sequel to the MV “Reunion”. I think in that vid, they were able to keep their promise and get reunited with each. We just don’t know how...
If I had to predict anything, it’d be that one day we’ll see an alternate ending to this video and get a sequel to “Reunion”
Of course it’s only a theory, and I don’t have much evidence. Sorry if it sounded stupid...

my interpretation was that them crossing their fingers in front of their mouths is to keep a secret. i mean, the song is literally called "secret" and the lyrics reference secrets a lot.
there also might be some uncertainty about where this song takes place in the timeline? the pink girl has a symbol on her clothes in all of the music videos (七). there's 3 in reunion, 1 in promise and 2 in this one, so i've seen some people speculate that this song takes place in between promise and reunion. but idk if that makes sense because the world in secret looks more like a futuristic dystopia and the lyrics imply that they are both adults now, whereas in reunion they still look like children... anyway, i don't think this is an alternate timeline, or at least i HOPE it's not because that complicates things a lot.

REAL HUMAN sorry for the late reply and I might sound stupid, but I think that on Nana's clothes it says 七七十 (with the last character looking more like a T. EDIT: it can be seen at 0:19 (oops it actually has 七七七) and 3:30), meaning 7, 7, 10. 7, 7, and 10 add up to 24 - I've read other theories that say Nana stopped an arranged marriage in Secret, and I think 14 (七+七) would probably feel a bit too young?
Also I do think alternate timelines is possible in this story as it can be quite confusing, or maybe I'm just reading numbers wrong...
EDIT again: Maybe the music video is jumping around timelines?

I feel like with each new song he makes, it affects us more emotionally. His progression is incredible, but at the same time, I can look back at any of Harumaki Gohan's works and I find that I still enjoy them just as much. I never grow tired of the music. I feel deeply for the characters and the music never fails to move my heart, whether it's the vocal cover or the vocaloid version. Anyone feel the same?
I'm sure everyone feels the same. Especially when it comes to his soft but bittersweet voice.

MVを見て思ったのは、
恐らく再会、約束で流れた世界とは別の世界と考えれる。
まだ１回しか見れてないからなんとも言えないが...
そして2:53辺りに出てくる場所、ここは再会にも出てきた船の場所にも見える。
再会から考えると戦争中（？）の時、リアルで考えると奴隷として捕まえるというのがあった。（はず）
恐らくミクさんの方のお姫様はもしかしたら人質として囚われてる可能性もゼロではないかも。
そして本人vocalにも出てくる青髪の少女、青髪の少女は親友を救うべく人質を捉えたボスを倒す世界。
どんな世界かはまだ正直自分自身理解出来てないが何となくそういうのが伝わった。
