2:54 Sounds amazing, so its also a synthwave monster
Nice
I have one and I LOVE it. For some reason it seems to get ignored by the synth community. Maybe the blonde cheeks? I personally love the way it looks.
You know that sound like a crazy thing BUT never underestimate something like that. The colors used. I have heard of some people totally hating on the System 8 because of the GREEN. So I get it. It's different from all the other synths they made when it comes to the wood color.
Man! I can see this added to the Prophet-10! Wow! 😳🎶🎹👍🏾
Don't tempt me lol 😆 🤣 😂 😜
@@PureAmbientDroneI see we’re on the same page! Lol!🤣🎶🎹👍🏾
@etpslick100 I had the p5 module and I did a demo of it. The 10 is tempting.
...sounds perfect to my ears. ,☯️
It truly is a masterpiece!
😂 & I was so wrong in being so sure it's the 3rd wave. 🥴
@@Gerald_Daniel others thought so too.
This thing sounds really good, seriously. I'm gonna have to revisit the Trigon 6 the next time I go to Guitar Center. There’s also a Minimoog Model D there too. I may just compare the two and see how close tge Trigon 6 can get just for fun. With that said, the Trigon 6 has so much power under the hood and so much more to offer than the Model D.
Oh I would definitely go for a trigon 6 over the moog but that's me.
This sound far more powerfull than an ubxa
Yes it does! Thicker and smoother. But they are way different synths, to be fair.
@@PureAmbientDrone Maybe there is room left for you to pick a Juno-X
Not in the slightest.
@janpieternieman5295 Not interested. I have a real Juno 106, and thus far, nothing is exactly like it. Not even a deepmind.
I definitely like the sound. I was not really a fan of the older Sequential Circuits instruments because they all seemed too polite-sounding, but I may have misjudged them.
Their prices, tho…
Dave outdid himself on this synth. All his synths are outstanding and I feel he just got better as he continued makes them.
@@PureAmbientDrone His final gift to the world.
Hi James, may I ask what program do you use to edit the video? Thanks! Nice demo by the way!
I use magix.
@@PureAmbientDrone thanks a lot mate. :)
do you think the Trigon 6 and the OB-X8 would make a good team?
Absolutely. There is enough TONE difference and sonics to play with to give you a good mixture of sounds with the two.
Wow, that thing sounds amazing! Guess it's time to sell the house. Will the Trigon 6 fit in the back seat of my Toyota Corolla?
It should fit, lol 😆
A Trigon 6 should fit just fine. I can't say the same about a CS80 though, or a vintage dual manual Prophet 10.
Ahhh the Model D and Pro 3 killer, excellent.
The tone this thing dishes out! Dave really did his Moog homework. You can feel his craftsmanship all over this beautiful machine 😍 ❤️
@@PureAmbientDrone Yes and he made an affordable Model D Poly too. what many don't know is this betters the Pro 3 as well in ladder filter mode.
So those who have been dismissing the T6 without ever having touched one, and say the Pro 3 needs a poly mode, well here it is in ladder form.
Some people are just too naive to understand anything about synths in general and just buy VA junk.
Thx for the upload, excellent.
@dankeplace imho a model d for 5k$ is unnecessary with the Trigon 6 costing almost 2 thousand less. And it's poly, and it has effects and it has presets memory. Why anyone would buy a model d over this is beyond me, other than to have a collective piece. Just my thoughts.
Yeah?
@@PureAmbientDrone I think people who buy Model Ds, some want a trophy to say they own one, it's a very specific mundane sound to me, that can be covered by software or other synths for much much cheaper.
It may not be the same sound but the Model D is a 1 trick pony, where the Trigon 6 can do much much more, for much much less.
Model D is old, does nothing new, where as the T6 is based on ladder but does far far more impressive things than something much more expensive than the offerings of the D.
Dave really hit it out of the ballpark with this flagship, and it was good to see him going back to a pure analog instead of a hybrid.
Ive done it., I pulled the trigger on the JP-X
This is so “bad”…I need to buy it!!! I may have to sell my Prophet 5. 😢😢😢 I’m having a crisis.
