Yes and also can be played better with MX player than ES player. But as you mentioned, if you dont want to go through the hassle of putting the videos on sd card, then UA-cam is the next best option.

The android version on digipad cannot be updated. Nor can we install android auto or car play. It can happen only if Honda provides a software update to the digipad.

My Digipad touch stopped working and am not able to use it any more, could you please suggest me where I could get my touch Pannel repaired.
If your car is under warranty, then you can get it replaced for free at your Honda dealership. If its not under warranty then better to get a new unit from car accessories shop rather than trying to repair the digipad which is not worth the cost.

There is no other way to use HDMI port except when the handbrake is engaged. In case you want to use HDMI port when handbrake is not engaged, you will have to cut the sensor wire inside it which is totally not recommended.

Hi Abhijit, glad to know you bought Jazz. But if its the latest model I doubt if it has the same AVN system (Digipad 1) which I have shown in my videos. Do confirm regarding which system is available in your car.

Yes thats a common problem. Try uninstalling firefox first. Then install vlc player and mx player. After that install firefox and run youtube. It should work with that. Do try and inform me.

Hey! Your channel has been really informative. Kudos to the good work you have been putting up.
I doubt if you can help me with this but I have been facing this Radio issue in my Honda City digipad. The radio stations are getting changed automatically without anyone touching the screen and I just cannot play my Radio as if it has gone into some auto-seek mode. I have tried reaching the dealers but they are of no help. I reset the system but the issue is not yet resolved.
Let me know if you have faced something on that line in the past. That would be a great help.
Thank you for appreciating my work. Generally the kind of problem/glitch you are facing gets solved with a hard reset of the device. Make sure you have clicked on Settings#Reset#Erase all data. But if inspite of doing so, you can register a formal complaint at your Honda dealership by writing a letter addressed to the service manager and also send a copy of that letter by mail to Honda India Customer Care. Once the service centre recieves a call from their higher ups, see the magic happen.

Hi, first up all a ton of thanks for your videos.
With well explained steps I managed to install the same Firefox browser in Digipad 1.0
Now, I am able to open youtube page and touch on a video thumbnail to run it.
Unfortunately the video loading round icon is seen for 40-50 seconds and an error is shown that "SORRY THIS VIDEO CANNOT BE PLAYED" and nothing happens thereafter.
Only once the video was played but only sound of FM could be heard instead of youtube video being played.
Please help
There is some sort of an audio playback issue. Try installing vlc media player. Restart the digipad. Then run youtube and check if it works. And also reduce the video quality to 144p, as I have shown in my video to decrease loading time.

No it's not applied to Digpad 2.0, because it has a different software than Digipad 1.0. Honda has restricted the ability to install any apps or use browser in Digipad 2.

1. If an external mic can be hooked to digipad due to poor placement of mics ( above screen) causing voice issues to other calling party.
2. Any way to increase the RAM on board digipad.
3. Some how use voice navigation for invoking and calling from phone book with voice. Digipad in its existing form is white elephant only.

1. No there is no way to attach external mic unless you change the entire AVN unit.
2. No RAM upgrade possible, nobody has tried that yet. And its more economical in investing in a new unit than getting RAM for this outdated unit
3. Voice calling is already available via steering control. While driving just click the voice command button and say the name to call. But most of the time it fails to register. So try at your own free time.

No solution possible because the bluetooth version inside digipad is outdated, and it will require a hardware change to eliminate any audio lag.

The 3 second lag can be heard while playing music via bluetooth. Otherwise there is no lag. That lag is because of older bluetooth version of digipad and cannot be changed or improved.

Currently there is no way to access internet in Digipad 2, as Honda has removed the capability. Its available only in Digipad 1.

Try reinstalling Firefox again. It is working for most. Also try restarting digipad itself. Hopefully it should correct itself.

Hi, I have installed Firefox for Digi Pad WRV and while playjng youtube there is no Voice Output when you play a video and now I am trying to uninstalled and it's not getting uninstalled. Kindly guide
In order to get audio output, you need to install vlc player and then play some music and video files in that. Once you have done that, youtube will get back its audio. Try this first before uninstalling.

Not possible in Honda Digipad 2.0. It is a completely different software unit.
The video playback is too slow and lags a lot ..any idea of a solution
Wifi connection has to be strong for continuous playback. Also, set the video quality to 144p. Anything more than that will buffer.
All this is because of outdated hardware of digipad. No fault of Firefox browser.

That is because it is a Digipad 2.0 unit. The one I have shown in the video is a Digipad 1.0 unit. Hence it cannot be done in your car system. Honda has removed the ability to do that

You have Digipad 2. Honda has changed it so you cannot access internet. I will be bringing out a video soon to do it in Digipad 2. Stay tuned to my channel.
My digipad screen is broken on top left side, touch is not working ; kindly advise from where I can replace only the screen.
You cannot replace only the screen. You have to give complaint to your Honda dealership and get the digipad replaced if its under warranty.

Good to hear about the update. But some digipads are not getting sound. The best option for you is to get a firestick and use the hdmi to watch youtube. Just get a canbus cable attached to the handbrake port in digipad. All your digipad problems will be solved.

I have a solution for youtube audio. Install vlc player and play some music files and video files in that. Once they start playing well with audio, then install firefox and play youtube. You wil get sound. Try this and tell me.

Digipad does not have built-in wifi capabilities and also does not support usb tethering to get an internet connection. Hence without the dongle, you cannot get internet.

U told about secret settings and to press menu button 5 times. When I m trying to press menu button it returns to the main menu.
You have a Digipad 2.0. The secret settings are for Digipad 1.0. they will not work in your unit.

Check the time and date settings of your digipad. Also try connecting to an alterente network, preferably a wifi network

There's no Menu button in my device to install from other sources
That means you have Digipad 2. Then you cannot try any of this. But I am currently working on a way to find some method. Will post the video on my channel soon.

Yes I understand. It is a common problem coming up. You need to uninstall firefox browser first, then install mx player and vlc media player. Then reinstall firefox browser and play youtube. Try this and let me know if it works for you.

U mean no audio. Yes that is a problem happening with some digipad users. You can try by uninstalling Firefox, then install mxplayer and vlc player. After that install firefox and try to run youtube. That should work.

As both players have audio codes, it is better to install both first. Then install firefox and see if the audio is working.

If the volume is not coming, do try and uninstall firefox browser, then install vlc player and mx player. Then reinstall firefox browser and run youtube.
