Ik this is late but for some clarification my cousin played her in freshman football, and for a girl going against boys she’s was good, but as an actual normal player she was kind of mediocre, I mean she could find the holes easily but that was about it she didn’t rally juke or anything like that and went down after first contact, also a stranger issue was since she was a girl she was already developed… she was 5’10 and taller then some of her linemen meaning you could see her whenever she got the ball. all an all for a female running back she wasn’t bad just nothing special
Funny how many guys are upset by this. The team won 48-0 she got 8 Carrie’s that game. She played in one other blowout all season and got 2 carries. It seems like the coach was doing a nice kid who was a senior a solid in a game that their opponent was clearly overmatched. Her teammates seemed excited for her. Good for her. Feels like a Rudy type situation to me
Cmon folks... The slow speed off the ball and the tiny kids on the other team... its a shame what they are trying to do here... I've coached 28 years... And girls DO NOT have the physicality to play football with boys... I've had one opponent that got my respect... And she was a huge Samoan or Tongan girl whose brothers played college football... Other than that girls literally get smacked all around the field... Sheesh... this is pandering... SMH
Well, Bella Rasmussen, Your Story is inspiring for Every Young Women/Wife/Girlfriend or whomever to NOT GIVE UP, SURRENDER, QUIT, RETREAT OR THROW IN THE TOWELS WHEN TIMES GET TOUGH, STRIVE AND THRIVE TO BE THE BEST YOU YOU POSSIBLY CAN BE IN LIFE!!!!
Brah no absolutely not and I’m not being like that I’m so for inclusion but those are grown men… imagine someone truly smacking her that’s not even funny
I definitely admire her getting out there like that, but no... it's not odd in highschool for skilled positions to still be at 130 to 150 pounds. In college though most skilled positions are gonna be at least 180 pounds... She could get seriously hurt in college football.(even d2)
I don't know....its always sketchy to say if when a guy knows its a girl they take it easier. When its guys you want to break them. Other men at times have that in their mind to break another man its a different mindset. Than "well i don't want to hurt her when we are playing"
There is nothing more disrespectful than letting a gurl run a touchdown on the goaline, bruh. I'm telling the defense that if she leaves the field walking ur off the team, I wanna see her flying backward break her down. However, u need to wonder how many carries she gets a game she couldn't run the ball against my middle school boys hitting harder than listerene
I dislike woke media as much as the next guy but y’all just finding any reason to hate she never once complained or asked for special treatment and the coaches say she works hard and is treated like the other players yet y’all go outta y’all way to guess that the players are taking it easy on her y’all don’t realize these guys wanna win and a lot of them want film to go to college
She's playing against guys? Wow, where is this? In most football crazy states, they would lite her up and not even on purpose because that's the way it's played. Maybe these guys know about her and give her a break. I wasn't a good football player, by any means, because of lack of wheels. But, I did lay the wood and I liked it. I rattled my own teeth by hitting and she wouldn't get up from some of the hits I took. I hope she doesn't get hurt.
She only played 2 games all year. Both blowouts. One game 2 Carries for 2 yards and this won she got 8 carries for about 20. They won 48-0. Coach was just doing her a solid. Which is cool, she seems like a nice kid and the guys on her team seemed excited for her.

She might not get a lucrative NIL deal or just an NIL deal at all because college rugby is practically non-existent by the viewing public in the US. For example Ohio State University football program brought in $210 million in 2019 while their rugby program, which is funded by the money from football, probably brought in a few thousand dollars at the most.
I could see clearly NOBODY was trying to decapitate her like we do each other, I really hope this young lady doesn't get her because off brain dead adults n coaches lying to her!!!
That is COMPLETELY irresponsible, as a parent, to let your daughter play tackle football with the guys. Personally, I think it`s disgusting that the coaches and the school would allow this.
Do you guys know if the Woman Professional Football League is still around? I remember San Diego and Phoenix had teams. Phoenix Caliente (don’t remember “SD” name”. My mom used to play for Phoenix, great memories.
True, but what she gets done is less than average, if she was just looked at as another player, but her gender is the reason she was selected for this video not her contribution to the team. She is an exceptional female but a less than average player.
@Ray Zimmerman if there isn’t a girls team yes. And the fact that she will never be as good as the boys yes. When a boy who is ranked below 200 in the men’s and wants to claim he’s a girl now and vaults to champion, that’s a problem. If you don’t see the difference you’re in lala land.
Cool, BUT back in 2017 Alexandria Buchanan,16 in Hawaii is the first female varsity quarterback in our state. She became the first to throw a touchdown pass during a game.
Pretty easy to score a touchdown when the other team is told to stand down. Same thing with the girl kicker on that college team. When the ball is snapped the defense just stood there.
Makes sense. When she comes in, the outcome of the game is not in question. No one wants to be the guy who puts her in the hospital. Whoever hits her hard probably risks his future.
In 8th grade I tried out for the JV football team and it was this girl named Tiffany and she was a great wide receiver and then my Senior year when I went to a different school It was another girl named Lexi and she was an O-lineman she was a awesome.
I am confused about the purpose of this story. If transgender athletes are dominating female sports, and this story is supposed to inspire us, what message are we supposed to take away? Is it simply about being tough, even if you're slower, smaller, and weaker? These types of feel-good stories may have contributed to the current controversy surrounding transgender athletes in female sports. Furthermore, I noticed that the footage of the athlete in question was brief and there were instances where opposing players seemed to hold back. While one commenter asked why gender even matters, it seems that the people who posted this story on UA-cam do care about it, as evidenced by the numerous comments congratulating the athlete. However, I am left wondering if the athlete is being celebrated for simply being a mascot.
Seems like a lot of comments are simps, not sure why these “coaches” are lying about her chances, making other girls think they can play football. But All that will happen is they will get seriously injured. Anyone who lets their daughter play football is stupid.
If there is a tremendous risk for injury to chicks when a male or trans-female plays females' sports, does the risk of injury, or the seriousness of injuries, to chicks somehow, miraculously, DIMINISH when they are playing co-ed or MALE sports?? Seems to me that the risk of injuries, and the seriousness of injuries, to chicks would be GREATER when they are playing co-ed or males' sports among/against predominantly males on the field/court.
First of all, in a lot of places it is illegal to deny a girl an opportunity to play a "boys'" sport unless there is a female equivalent. Soccer is not an equivalent for football, but softball is for baseball. Second, Ohio has very strong traditions in both football and wrestling, and girls have done well against the boys in both sports. Olympic weightlifter Holley Mangold played on the offensive line for a very good high school team, and at least one girl has competed successfully in the state wrestling tournaments.
What did you think about that transgender lady fighting womens mma and just pummeled the other girl? The loser was hurt pretty bad, which happens. Did you watch it? I saw the video in yt. I didn’t know how to feel. I’ve seen my mother get beaten viciously twice by two different men while I was growing up. I thought she was dead as she lied there bleeding heavily from the mouth and nose. Due to them being broken. Watching that to me gave me bad memories.
Happy for her, just would not let my daughter believe she is going to play at a higher level. She would be hurt badly. At least she is having a impact at her school now.
Not necessarily I’m a female playing college ball as a d-end against some massive men and I’ve never been hurt besides the average bruises and bumps here and there we can hold ourselves well out there if we want to
Is she playing in a private school league or is it just that terrible? I know that there is a message of do what you love and don't let anyone tell you differently, however, if she was playing in a 5A or 6A district I don't think that the holes would look that wide. It is good that she loves playing and is being given a chance to play, but we have to see when guys go full speed and show no mercy to smaller players on the field.
Her gender is the reason anyone has heard of her because if she was looked at as just a player on a high school football team she would not have been given any recognition much less the amount of praise that she has been given.
And she should be celebrated for her accomplishments, not her gender, race, religion, age, etc… She broke a record and proved herself out there. Good for her and her entire team!
Playing football has given her a lot of confidence and that is a gift team sports should hand out to every kid playing. She runs upright a little to much but as a female probably has a great center of balance to counter but oof I bet she has taken a beating in HS playing that position. Good on her for sticking to her dreams and being an example for every girl out there that loves football.
Lets be real. She has courage and is a mature well spoken young lady. She is an average ball high school ball carrier at best. This is as far as she is going to go. College a whole different ball game. Only a small percent of all high school players go on to play on the next level.
She only played in two games. They were both blowouts. Seems like the coach did her a solid for probably being a good kid. But she got 10 Carrie’s in that game for like 20 yards and they won 48-0. It’s not like she is a starting rb or anything. I think it is cool that she was even able to hang with the guys. They seemed excited for her
It’s Laguna Beach dude! Safe to say (google search the stats) it’s not an elite football conference their in. It’s not Texas or Florida or the powerhouses in Califus. With the strength difference in boys and girls there is no way kids aren’t rockin her! Look how she runs. If they are taking it easy on her that’s not fair to her either as it builds false confidence. I will say that’s not what we should focus on. It’s impressive how she decided to follow in the footsteps of other females who have done it already and she stuck it out. Just like any kid who is deemed the underdog. Rudy was s great story, but he sucked! Haha! Two-three plays don’t make you a HOFer!!! Good for Bella doing what she loves. Much respect and best of luck. Run a little lower! You can’t run upright line Eric Dickerson unless you got his blazing speed!!
I have two daughters. I want them to aspire to do anything the set their mind to. Sky's the limit! Bella is an inspiration and a great example. But let's be honest... Anyone who has played any level of football beyond Jr. High knows that the level of physicality is different. Even with just the available game footage from this mini-feature shows you that she is receiving special treatment. They do not form tackle her in game speed. It was arm drags, pushes out of bounds, or incidental contact after a TD. She was never hit - squared up - running through a gap. There were SEVERAL opportunities to neutralize her at the line of scrimmage - with unblocked players - that could have put a shoulder into her and stopped her for no yards gained or very little yards. They didn't. So what are we doing here? Are we promoting special treatment for a person - who does not look that fast, doesn't have good cut ability, and is considerably less athletic compared to the average HS running back? For the idea of a girl being able to achieve something in a very physical and violent sport that is primarily played by boys? I don't believe the argument from physical ability is met here. I want to see her do the oklahoma drill - where I am testing other players and their ability - and see her smash into them with violence and see how she holds up. I don't think she will. And I don't think she gets full-contact scrimmaging without some implicit exceptions. It's an inspiring story. Great job. But what did it actually take to help her meet those achievements? Did we compromise the game itself? How do the other players feel about giving their 100% best, fighting injuries, and competing to start in that particular position - while she clearly is treated with some exception? What are we truly teaching kids about giving your best effort despite insurmountable odds? Because football, life and society will not give exceptions.

Feels like a Rudy type situation to me
No, the woke idiots will use this to claim there is no difference between boys and girls
SMH
Well,
Bella Rasmussen, Your Story is inspiring for Every Young Women/Wife/Girlfriend or whomever to NOT GIVE UP, SURRENDER, QUIT, RETREAT OR THROW IN THE TOWELS WHEN TIMES GET TOUGH, STRIVE AND THRIVE TO BE THE BEST YOU YOU POSSIBLY CAN BE IN LIFE!!!!
Yes! Go out and get your head knocked off in the name of women's rights!
reminds me of those make-a-wish foundation plays where they hand it off to slappy, the disabled kid and let him score.
😂
Best of luck to her. It would be awesome to see her play in college and beyond.
I'm not trying to be rude but she won't make it past high school
She ain’t making it
Brah no absolutely not and I’m not being like that I’m so for inclusion but those are grown men… imagine someone truly smacking her that’s not even funny
Can't wait to follow her journey!
I definitely admire her getting out there like that, but no... it's not odd in highschool for skilled positions to still be at 130 to 150 pounds. In college though most skilled positions are gonna be at least 180 pounds... She could get seriously hurt in college football.(even d2)
What a great story and what an outstanding young lady. Thanks for the video.
I don't know....its always sketchy to say if when a guy knows its a girl they take it easier. When its guys you want to break them. Other men at times have that in their mind to break another man its a different mindset. Than "well i don't want to hurt her when we are playing"
She's a great kid, no doubt. Works hard. Listens to her coaches. At some point she's going to get lit up fr. Then we'll see.
She is tough. Much respect
YOU GO GIRL
@@michaeldc951 I still don't know that I care for it for a number of reasons, but mostly because of her health.
@@bradtaylor4765 oh, I totally agree. I don’t like it at all. But mainly cause I’m a dad and I think how I’d feel about my daughter playing football. But it seems like he put her in the best possible situation.

Annette turner that is me I am Bella great grandma and I am a very very happy and proud of her great job Bella not only did you become very successful in football but you kept your grades up and also continued to be a straight A student I have always been very proud of you but this is a different kind of being proud I love you bunches. as I watch you on your special night in what you achieved I said to myself a star was just born. With all my love and caring
Bless you in all your golds in your future always be honest and faithful in all your doing and I know you will because that’s who you truly are
Bella I want to wish you a early happy birthday in the 13 I hope if you have a bucket list you get to do something you have on it if not just enjoy a beautiful day with your lovely family
Is she a starter? Did her TD's come against a tough team or one that was being blown out?
Believe it was a blowout.
She couldn’t start and play a whole game…they pick and choose when to put her in.
Great kid and excellent athlete. She might think of playing rugby at Uni. She would do well I think.
They have girls' rugby?
Drinking Game: Take a shot every time you hear the word 'like.'
We had a girl try out for football. We ran tackling drills until she quit. It was awesome.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Not every woman can cut it. But the fact yall enjoyed hurting her really shows what men are like at the core
@@Gillandria We would've made you cry too
I can’t blame you for that. There are plenty of gender appropriate sports for her.
Why is this news? My 60 year old father could’ve scored on that play
When you want something bad enough, you go after it, irregardless of who, or what you are
Is she playing against boys and clips or against girls. I know Georgia has a woman's high school football league.
So inspirational. Love that for her!
🙏
Do you guys know if the Woman Professional Football League is still around? I remember San Diego and Phoenix had teams. Phoenix Caliente (don’t remember “SD” name”. My mom used to play for Phoenix, great memories.
Girl or boy. If she can get it done she can get it done. I respect her for it
She can't get it done though. She's slow AF. It's a pity/publicity/SJW agenda roster spot. It's basically a participation trophy.
True, but what she gets done is less than average, if she was just looked at as another player, but her gender is the reason she was selected for this video not her contribution to the team. She is an exceptional female but a less than average player.
Absolutely a very impressive young lady.
Keep making history, and putting on! God bless your soul, so inspiring

If women want to play. Stop being sexist. Give them they're own league. High school and college. WNFL.
When she gets her bell rung , then she will go into concussion protocol and experience mental health first hand .
Now that is a real woman! Not some trans that couldn’t cut it playing on the boys team so woke up as girl so he could dominate women’s sports.
I wish she would come to UCONN and play basketball!
Love the how she plays football
Excuse me? You determined that with The 23 seconds of game highlights from her? Alrighty then!
@@INKDnARMD What else is there to see? She can catch. She can run. She’s tough. And most important, she has no fear.
@@INKDnARMD And you determined in that same short time that she isn't?
Didn't have any grass stains on her uniform. I wonder how many plays from scrimmage she played ! The other running back must be real bad !🥀🐱
@@zzzxxzzz3248probably like 5 but what does that change about the way she plays football?
She wore the right number with the Chargers. Drew Brees would be proud.
Should go up against Mater Dei Duncanville IMG North Shore then will see how good she is full speed
I’m so glad her parents didn’t convince her she was a boy because she liked football.
She’s a baller. Doesn’t matter that she is a girl. 🫡 RESPECT!!
Good for her, and it's an incredible story, but if I'm on defense, that girl is only getting negative yards 😂
You go girl❣️❣️❣️

Yes!
Keep ballin 🖤

Love all of this. Who cares about gender. Heart, skill, passion, ability. Go out there and do your thing!
Good for her and her entire team!
inspirational❤
Why is this getting as much publicity as it is… She only got 23 yards the entire season...
It is called FAVORABLE FEMINISM.
Wild guess is because she’s a girl.
maybe because they are agenda pushing losers, *cough* *cough* whistle feminism
Chicks….
Exactly lol
Hope to see her in the LFL someday.
She took bella and the bulldogs literary
my hats off to you girl
What a beast.
Yeast Mode!
Timestamp one moment where a player could have made a better tackle attempt on her
They were gentlemen about it. We were savages. We only saw the colors of the opposition.
