Don't see an issue with it. High school has a boys soccer and girls soccer, boys baseball and girls softball, basketball etc. Girls football team should be no different. As long as the other schools agree and it's all girls teams, should be just fine.

They do. It’s called powderpuff. I think you’d be hard pressed to field an all girls high school tackle football team. No chance you’re gonna find 25+ high school girls in each high school to play tackle football. At least not where I went to school. Maybe it’s different in different areas??

My only concern is this: Why isn't this posted on the main NFL UA-cam channel? If Roger Goodell wants this story to really have an impact (not saying I think Roger Goodell runs these UA-cam channels, but someone HAS to), then you wouldn't post this on one of your smallest channels on the platform. Having the most amount of eyes looking at the idea could offer a realistic number of who's interested in the idea of a Women's League. A lot of guys purposely miss the point of their statements and only say that it's a size and strength issue. They're not talking about joining the NFL, they literally stated that in the video. They wanted their own way to play the sport at a professional capacity. If you're still missing the point, then you're a part of the problem. 🤦 But to the women, ladies, girls or whatever you prefer, just know there's risks involved in football. Concussions, torn ACL's and all these other awful injuries can now happen to you. The media is already hostile towards you for little to no reason, there's a lot of the smaller things during the week to prepare for a game, learning the drills, skills and techniques of the game, learning the strategies, concepts and playbooks, learning cadences, audibles, and adjustments. Learning the rules of the game, the penalties, the unspoken rules of locker rooms, things like that. There's a lot more that I'm missing on here that should be mentioned, but playing football comes with bad as well as the good. Surprise us with how well you deal with everything that gets thrown your way successfully 👍

"They wanted their own way to play the sport at a professional capacity" Then go fucking do it. Its not the NFL responsibility to make a women's league. The NBA is proof why that concept doesn't work. WNBA has been around how long and has NEVER brought in a profit. Every year the NBA Pours money into it with zero return. To make maters worse they want to be paid more for not generating a profit. Why would the NFL do that? If women want to go out and create a professional league and market it then do so but don't expect people to give it to you.

But there are no leagues for them. I feel like this will change and it will eventually get there. Don't dismiss it. The road will be slow. There also was a modified indoor league that had racey uniforms, but the skillsets were there and the hits were for real. It was called the Legends Football League. It was 7 on 7 in arenas. If they'd have modified the uniforms a little it would have been much more family friendly. Pool. There should be no separation of the sexes here.
As we know women playing poker, technically a sport, easily smoke men all the time.
But for contact sports women need their own league. You can take the worst men's high school teams in baseball, softball, hockey, football, basketball and they will crush the best women's team every time. You can add tennis here as well. Take the best professional female tennis player against even the best high school player and they lose.
Take any male track athlete against any female they lose.

I agree for tough tryout leagues they should not have in general men and women playing together for anyone who wants to play in high school due to the women would need special treatment especially at high school and above level as on average like 90-95% of time, guys are stronger. So an all out league of tryouts with both is not good. However in a tryout league, a girl should be allowed to play is she is good enough to compete as long as they do not get special treatment on the field. Because there are some girls in high school good enough to compete with guys and sometimes even better than most. Its just that there are significantly fewer of them. But they should be allowed. But no all out co-ed league to allow all girls who want to play just to play. They should have to be good enough though.
And yes they should still be allowed on men's team if they can compete even if there is an all female football league. Likewise for other sports like basketball as well. Reverse is not true as men should not be allowed on women's teams because on average they are better/stronger 95% of the time and could overtake the sport easily as trans gender males who converted to female have shown. When a female plays on all males team it is special and unique and cool if she can compete or exceed most guys ability. But a guy going to girl's league just cheapens it as too many guys could overtake the sport and dominate. Yes I am sure there are lots of boys who would bee average players in all female leagues, but problem is because men on average are better/stronger but not always, it would be easy to abuse that rule for guys who far exceed females to just take over leagues lying they are not good enough or doing worse in practice on purpose lol.

@@allthingstwizted4924 Yes you are right that some of equality movement and use reverse discrimination argument and say men should be allowed on women's teams if women are allowed on men's teams.
Problem is we do not live in a perfect world. In a perfect world, men would be allowed on women's teams and they would be not good enough to overtake the leagues. Problem is how in the heck can you enforce that when the system would be as easy as ever for men to abuse by just faking to be not as good.
Some say women's teams exist because of the biological difference between men and women and that women are simply weaker and not as athletic and should have their own teams and some say this is also why women should not be allowed on men's teams because of biological differences.
The problem with that is, women are not always weaker and less athletic than men. They usually are, but not always and there are exceptions. The football leagues even the NFL are for best players in the world period, not only for men and in fact the NFL has no male only rule. SO it only makes sense to allow a female in the league if they truly can compete. Well NFL I doubt it would happen but you never know.
The reverse exceptions for men on women's teams just really do not work because how would you prevent the system from being abused once again. But I do not think the right for a female who is good enough to play with the males should be taken from them just for equality sakes. This is just one of those situations where life is not always fair and female teams are specifically for females as they are usually not as strong. But male teams generally are for the best of the best regardless of gender and really are just called football basketball and such and do not have the terms women's basketball and etc and only are called male leagues because they are dominated by males even though they technically are for the best of the best at the high school in question. Just so happens that 95% of the best are males even though there are exceptions certainly down at high school levels.

I think a female should be allowed in the NFL is she can compete and a team wants her. But to allow them in the NFL and relax rules just because they are women and make it coed no way no how. But allow the very best of the best to play regardless of gender, absolutely. Just happens best of best happen to be 95% to 99.999% men just based on biology. Though I suppose its possible there could be a rare female good enough, just has not happened yet or if there ever was they never tried/were not interested to see.

However, particularly in the case of Sam Gordon, I can't help but ask "What exactly did she accomplish for herself?" I mean, yes, she helped start a women's league in Utah, but did Sam really end up living her dream? In my opinion, I think she fell well short of that. It's not like we're hearing about her continuing her football career now in 2022. Also, we're not hearing about Sam or anyone petitioning College Football to start a "Women's College Football" league the way that NCAA Women's Basketball is run today. Wouldn't that be another important step to take if you want women to play American Football on a regular basis?
