Thank you, too, for talking about color. I know I've bothered you about that more than once, and I appreciate you sharing your insights. Color is such a highly personal thing, but at the same time, it's so universal. The colors you choose can make all the difference between creating something we love and something that just doesn't work. The colors you use in this definitely harmonize and work well together! I've been trying your trick of working with either a warm or cool palette - it's made for an easy journey where I usually struggle with stepping outside my color comfort zone. I am always drawn to teal/turquoise, pinks, and purples. I have a terrible time using greens, oranges, and yellows. Yet another reason I love watching you create - you make it seem so easy to integrate the colors that stump me. I will rewatch your video the usual fifteen times, so I am sure to soak in as much information as possible. This whole doodle was beyond lovely - you OWN mark making. I could watch you create all your marks all day long! Thank you for always replenishing my artistic mojo. I don't know where I would be without you.

It is hard to use colours we aren't usually drawn to isn't it? But you can ease them in if you surround them with colours you love! 😂🎨💖

Gorgeous gorgeous and more gorgeous. I tend to lean towards your colors too. I love pink and green together but for the most part pink and oranges. Blue is turquoise for me. TFS your lovely abstract and till next time, keep on creating. 🎨👍💗💛💙

Love your colorful piece, Kim! I almost always use blue and some sort of blue/green. Even if I try not to. Purple is another one and I love the combination of blue and copper. It´s last day of Inktober, I have one drawing to do. You´re doing great, too! I´ve been mostly using black & white this month and I love that, too, but I miss colors so much! Tfs, hugs, Fia

I find there is a colour prejudice in a lot of art supplies - orange is the one colour that is least likely to have more than one version.

I love all colors. That's where I get into trouble. What pen are you using to be able to draw over paint without ruining the pen?

I am a confessed Color Addict or Color Fancier, if you like. When I started painting again I bought an inexpensive set of multiple colors to try and that really worked for me. I could try a different combination for every painting. Right now my love is CELADON. I'm pairing it with everything.
