Channel 9 News Item - Benowa State High School 2011 (edited)

The Language Perfect World Championships 2011 was won by Queensland school Benowa State High School. Their students answered over 1 million questions in the week long competition.
Nicole Davies, French Teacher at Benowa State High School said "Thanks a lot for the encouragement! I have very motivated students who have worked very hard the last couple of days! we want to do well in this competition!!!! And endurance will be the secret! They are all having fun and I am very excited -- had to take a sleeping pill the last 2 nights!!! Thanks for putting this together it is such a highlight in everybody's life -- foreign languages do not always have a high profile, so this is perfect for giving it a big boost!"
