    If he had avoided injury, he would have been the greatest powerlifter of all time. No doubt.

      @brtko_marek 3 місяці тому

      i think he would, he was soo young. with such amazing technique and the RAW POWER. those 400+kg squats flew up like nothing + the depth was UNDENIABLE.

  • @cm6875
    @cm6875 10 років тому +3

    Seen red lights for dropping dead lifts like that. Other than that (which is stupid IMO) this was absolutely jaw dropping.
    I assume you didn't go so heavy on deads cause of the insane squat weight you went for

    • @JazzualSuspects
      @JazzualSuspects 10 років тому +2

      He had extra on all his lifts, but his coach said he's working on a long term plan.
      Well and another reason for not having to go all out was the lack of competition for him, of course.

    Holy fuck the size of those thighs when he is doing deadlifts.

  • @Muamarz
    @Muamarz 10 років тому +1

    his squat and deadlift difference is like backwards of benni's.
    benni's deadlift is 461 sQ 380
    carl's deadlift is 390 sQ 490
    all in KGs. interesting lol.

    • @Neptunion118
      @Neptunion118 10 років тому

      yea but benni is raw, carl is single ply, u cannot compare them

    • @Muamarz
      @Muamarz 10 років тому

      im not really comparing whether one is raw or not. I'm solely looking at their squat and deadlift ratio.
      its quite fascinating and the way they pull shows there is a difference in style.

    • @Mithridates_7
      @Mithridates_7 10 років тому

      Sea Wolf carl has 0.000000 passion, while benni has level 1000 and gets me fired up, but thats how carl is

    • @MrRecords14
      @MrRecords14 10 років тому +3

      Raw Powerlifting Strenght "carl has 0 passion" what a stupid fucking thing to say, a person doesn't put up the greatest equipped total of all time with 0 passion. He just doesn't make himself look like a raging lunatic when lifting these weights.

    • @Mithridates_7

    • @Glenn71
      @Glenn71 9 років тому

      ***** They often have problem with the grip. That is CYC problem also, he could lift a lot more if his grip could take it.

    For the lazy like me, could you put the lbs next to the kg plz. I look it up anyway.

    • @Kriss_941
      @Kriss_941 9 років тому

      +WheresTheAnyKey1 why you use pounds at all mate... metric system is so much better, I mean there's a reason why everyone except the US and a couple others use it... but hey it could be worse, you could use stones... I mean what the fuck? how much does a stone weigh? is it a big or small stone, it makes no sense...

    • @kenhaze5230
      @kenhaze5230 9 років тому

      +Kriss_941 Conversely, U.S. is richest and most powerful nation. Perhaps other nations would be tied if they used lbs?

    • @Kriss_941
      @Kriss_941 9 років тому

      Ken Haze That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard... and if you want to look at these things I'm pretty sure the US is one of the countries with the most debt, they have the most incarsorated per capita and so on... what are you best at? well military spendings is one of few, actually per capita you're not the richest and in terms of standard of living you're certently not the best ;D

    • @kenhaze5230
      @kenhaze5230 9 років тому

      You spelled incarcerated completely wrong, and yes, although our debt is high, other successful countries have similar or higher debt, e.g. Japan is higher.
      Sorry about your luck, U.S.A. wins again.

    • @kenhaze5230
      @kenhaze5230 9 років тому

      Right, it's absolutely not twice as high.
      Let's count the number of fortune 500 companies and see which country has contributed more to the global community.

    • @kekistani2373
      @kekistani2373 9 років тому

      Simon Standbridge how is that raw? my friend has the same metal suit. This is full power single ply. It wouldnt make any sense to squat and bench single ply and deadlift raw

    • @flawtyjohn133
      @flawtyjohn133 9 років тому

      +bugatti272 Whatever those guys said about gear etc... Carl is a build squatter, his leverages are excellent for squat, very good for deadlift, hence him being somewhat weaker at it, and good for bench.

    • @Glenn71
      @Glenn71 9 років тому

      +bugatti272 He has had problem in the past with his grip. With his strength, he could probably lift a lot more in the deadlift but it's hard to hold so much weight in your hands.
