Designing Homes for Extra Care

- In this installment of the Housing LIN's 'Spotlight on Extra Care' series, we look at the design process and philosophy behind creating a successful Extra Care scheme.
The film focuses on several case study developments with outstanding or innovative features, including TreeTop Village in Newcastle, Clement House in Bracknell, Mariner's Park in Wallasey and The Orangery in Bexhill-on-Sea. We hear from architects and academics helping to shape the future of retirement living, while residents of the schemes speak to the effect a well-designed extra care scheme can have on people's lives.
Directed and produced by Chris Powell for the Housing LIN.
