Are you happy with the wind production. What numbers are you seeing? Great video!

I am, to see a meaningful current the wind needs to be in the 12-32mph range which I've seen on a regular basis, with 25-28mph being the sweet spot. It really helps out with my overall power when it is storming out and my solar yield would have been very low normally but the wind bridges the gap. It's really hard to sort out the numbers and separate the overall generation from the two sources. On windy/stormy days I've seen a 12% recovery on my battery bank which would be around 108Ah, the solar would have had a minimal contribution to that number. The 12% recovery does not include the power consumed during that day, that was a net recovery. With an electric fridge/freezer that runs on and off throughout the day I would guess the total contribution to be 20ish% higher than the 108Ah.

Good video! 1 year later how’s it holding up? I’m looking at getting one. Would you recommend?

I am happy with it. The only thing I would say is to temper expectations about its contribution to your overall power supply. It only puts out significant power in a pretty narrow band of wind speed but when you have the wind it’s great. I recently got stuck in Fernandina Beach for two weeks with 30-40mph winds and it supplied the majority of our power for those two weeks. It is a very good compliment to solar.
