Reuben your prolific and diverse work is so encouraging! I understand your thesis to be not a denial of the law of the excluded middle, but rather a recognition that in complex matters we rarely have a full view of what “A” is as we contrast it to “not A”. Yet we act as if we do. Recognizing that our actual view is some mix of the true reality and a falsehood puts our view in that spectrum bisected by “indeterminate.” If both sides can humbly acknowledge such dilution, seek common points of truth, and sharpen away our different falsehoods, then it seems like we could walk together towards the actual truth-and this posture and attitude then begins to resolve conflict. How close did I get to paraphrasing nutrosophy (a term I’ve never heard til now)? Blessings on all you do!

Benjamin I am extremely impressed by your comment! You got it. My point is that Plato and Aristotle and even Hegel conditioned our thinking around dualism. This bewitched the Academy. In every dialogue between you and I, we include and exclude so much. This makes it difficult to resolve conflicts when they arise. It makes us believe it’s only the way you and I see things.…… The least we can do to better things is allow a trialectic instead of settling for dialectics. Even for us as believers, we must move from the world of dichotomy and seek God‘s position on every matter to bring about a trichotomy.
