How do I find listings on eBay? I can’t find them.
What app are you using to find the products value on line?
I have 160 active listings on eBay, so about 10% of the size of your store. I am considerably older than you are, and my interest in selling on eBay is more downsizing than reselling. My sourcing method is mostly to walk around my attic or basement or garage and find things I no longer want or need. You have convinced me that I will get better money for these items on eBay than holding a garage sale.
Hi. I'm not familiar with Ebay's way of operating. Do they take a percentage from you? And I was wondering how one calculates the fee of postage to send the items out. Thank you.
Yes, they do take a percentage plus usually there's a standard fee. There's another fee for services like PayPal etc. but I just found out they now let you list a certain amount for free but when it sells you pay a percentage. Hope that helps. I use it for more hard to find items or niche things that fetch a higher dollar and can justify paying fees in my case @@topicsincriticalthinkingdy9351

@@vheth5968EBay is now Gready as fk last I new it’s 10% an sometimes cost to list items? They set the shipping rate unless you off free shipping! Also it’s another 5% to use PayPal! Then another tax for what ever state shipping to?
@topicsincriticalthinkingdy9351 ebay has a shopping calculator built in. Every item shipped will be different depending on where you are and where it's going and how heavy.
If you get into it heavy you can get postal scale/printer set up to do all the labels. It's a bit more complicated than that but if you ask at your local post office they can fill you in.
My daughter owns her own company and they have bulk shipping.

My condolences
I do yardsale with a few other family. Most I have made is $90. I’m a push over and let things go too cheap. Just hate confrontation. I’m new here but I have learned a thing or two. Our goodwill here is high and when you take donations you have to sort it out. So I just donate to a few blessings boxes around town. Thank you for sharing and taking us along 😊
I sold my golf caddy locally that I got out of a storage unit for basically free. Guy fixed the tires while it was in the back of my SUV, invited me to his community yard sale like two days later, I gave him back the $50 he paid me and took all his jerseys which I've made about $300 and still have a few hats. His name was Stacy, so was his wife and so am I. I now have fond thoughts of golf caddies lol.
The goodwill close to my house is so overpriced it’s cheaper to by new! Example: Dollar Tree plastic container $7.95! If some don’t know, it’s a $1.25 at Dollar Tree!
No much longer. Prices can go up to $7.00 sometime in July 24
Our closest Goodwill is actually a laughing stock when it comes to pricing.. I marvel & envy the finds of these guys.

I have about 20 of the Dickens Department 56 that I would like to sell. They date back to the 90’s and are in perfect condition in their original boxes. I also have figurines from that series.
Been finding the prices of things in thrift stores is getting too high considering most of these places get items for free. heads up people if you have unwanted items sell them in a garage sale if you can .
It’s ridiculous to see items that are sold in major stores in donated goods priced higher than what they were sold for new.
Of course there are many valuable pieces that can be found if you’re willing to take the time to dig through. 👍
That push cart handle should be able to fold down as well without disassembly. Thats a nice one. Great finds!

Around here all the thrifts have gone private and the prices show... found a sword that was over twice the price of new... and alot of used stuff they were selling for more than new
. They have No shame...

I'm VERY computer illiterate bcuz I took off & went on full time Grateful Dead tour 1989-95. I'm 50yro the ONLY computer skills I got were in Jr high School math lab, lol 😂😢

Interesting! In UK equivalents of 'Goodwill' all electrical items must pass PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) before sale to be sure they are working and electrically safe. This has to be carried out by a qualified electrician, so will be always be marked PAT tested and in working order. But impressed that you can check working order for yourself in store! Loved that teapot. Yeah, can't pass up on one of those... I'm British!

There’s a new Thrift Store opening up not too far from me. It’s privately owned, not a chain or franchise. The building is quite sizable, so I’m looking forward to buying and reselling other people’s cast offs! I might trade some in for items I don’t really use.
That CUBE cart is big in the DIY type Photography world, they like to use these carts to mount lighting equipment too so it's easy to transport when shooting on location.

I recently had a TV that was in need of repair and a woman told me to take and throw it away or what ever I wanted to do with it.. I parted it out, sold the power cord in 3 days, the stand in 4 days and have the remote listed now. It's the unassuming things.....
I would have never thought to sell the stands from TVs,, I always take them off to Mount the TV, I do keep the stand but never would have thought to try selling it. I currently have three of them I should maybe see if I can get any money for them

12:33 with your pin board where people have randomly stuck in pins that you don't think are actually people from those locations You should remove the ones that don't have anything that correlates in the sign-in book, and just put a little note there please sign in before putting your PIN in the board, and that way it will be easier to keep up to date and you won't end up with lots of random pins stuck into different states.
