That's great, Edgar! What year and model did you get? Specs? I just ordered an XLT brand new 2023. My first Ford truck I was a Chevy guy, but they're ugly now. I ordered the 4x4 Supercrew, 5l V8, agate black w/ black appearance package. This trim comes w/ leather seats and a 12'' infotainment screen. 3.73 locking because I'm gonna put bigger tires on. I wanted to upgrade to the 360 degree camera but to add it they make you add the tow package, which I don't need I don't tow anything. So to get the cameras would have cost over $2,000. I kind of regret not ordering it but at the same time I didn't want to be too greedy
The problem is you just can buy a damn truck. Prices are insane, there’s no inventory and build times are ridiculous. Honestly, I’ve given up. Dealers are showing their true colors and ripping customers off at every possible opportunity and making more money than ever. The entire process is filled with stress and uncertainty. I’m putting off a new truck purchase until I’m actually valued as a customer again and the industry figures itself out
Sadly, it seems there's lot of either ignorant peole or people with lots of cash that don't care and want it now. I consider myself an average income American and I can't afford a $50k plus truck. Rebates and incentives are long gone, even MSRP is gone. In my area there isn't a single honest down to earth ford dealer. I want a truck, bad, but I won't stretch my loan to 72 or 84 months.
@@davidzavala337 I completely agree…they’ve shown how little value they have for customers other than squeezing every dime out of them through every trick in the book... I won’t shed a single tear when the industry goes direct and they fall like dominoes

Hi Ben I just got my tremor last week, order it last November, was built in February, had to wait for chips .I love the truck 402a package fully loaded, like you said love the seats, like watching your videos ,watching your reviews helped me decide on getting a tremor, my son is in the auto industry so I got a great deal, family discount, I live in Ontario Canada, thanks
I’m still waiting for mine, I ordered it in march, it was built in may. My truck probably needs a chip too before they can ship it to the dealership, but I am slowly losing my excitement lol Side note I actually work for ford 🤘🏼
I got this same exact truck about a month ago 2023. I didn’t want an eco boost but after driving the 5.0 and the eco boost yeah I don’t regret it! It’s smoother and feels so much faster especially in sport mode lol so far I’m happy with the truck
Now thats a sharp truck. Can’t wait to see the superduty get an interior refresh. Like the xlt more than the tremor. I wouldn’t need all the off road gadgets. A good set of tires, maybe a level is plenty for my taste.
We went from a 2019 Ford XTR to a 2022 Sport model with the black appearance package. We are very happy with our new truck. The one thing to note with the Tremor hood though, is if the hood is wet from rain, the water really spits back on your windshield when your driving. You have to drive with your windshield wipers on for a while until the water finally flies off. This barely happened with our 2019.
I totally would have went tremor until I heard no V8 and goldy trims. I was hoping they would have had the BAP+tremor like the super duty, so its a lariat V8 BAP for me, should be here in a couple of weeks.
Yeah I bought a 2022 black XLT sport i changed my wheels to all black with tinted windows it looks pretty good I just need to do my emblems and Put the STX grill on it and I’m done, mine didn’t come w dual exhaust like this one though 🤔
Seems like the max towing package would come standard with tow mirrors. I understand not everyone uses a box trailer, but it still seems like it should be the default.
Superchip, LOL!!!! Go ahead and blow your motor. And with all that you'd still get smoked by an Ecoboost running nothing but a mild daily driver tune. All of your listed options on the 5.0 might yield an extra 25 hp.
I think this year you get a better value with sierra/Silverado. Plus that 3.0 diesel engine will give you more mpgs and Diesel is usually cheaper than premium gas. At least in my area
3:56 When did they change the interior tailgate release button to two presses? I’ve got a 2022 XLT built in Jan and it’s a single press to open the tailgate.
Well Xplan on this would make it much cheaper. This also has the BAP package and max tow which is $4000 at least in just those two. So compare apples to apples.
I bought a 2021 F150 with the 5.0. the 10 speed transmission is trash. To date, I have 4000 miles on it. (ordered in july 2020 took six months to arrive.) Kendall ford has already reset the trans once and I'm bringing it in tomorrow for loss of power problems as well as hard shifting. They told me there ar no parts to repair or replace the trans. They also quipped: "Yeah, those 10 speeds are a problem" They are selling these trucks knowing the 10 speed is a problem and they can't honor the warranty when it fails. Class action law suits are the only avenues for recourse. Don't buy one. Junk.
Well it's pretty much the same transmission in the GM trucks. RAM transmissions are a nightmare. Tundra's too new. Titan is junk. I guess we're all screwed.
I've been looking at either a RAM 1500 Bighorn or the Ford F150 XLT. The RAM is really nice but what is with that rotary wheel gear shift 😐? I guess I'd get used to it. I've also noticed the lower trims on the RAM don't have blind spot monitoring. Did they leave that off due to the chip shortage? To me, that's a huge deal but I havnt heard it mentioned much in reviews. Just seems like a huge over sight to leave that off. My 2019 Ford Ranger has a key ignition and manual seat adjustment but still has BSM. That thing has saved my bacon at least 2 or 3 times over the past 2 years. The Ford XLTs are just crazy expensive and not many to choose from. If all things were equal, I'd go with the XLT but I've been buying Fords for years. Both are great trucks.
The Black Appearance package makes the exterior look so much cooler not to mention the front grill.
Chrome exterior isn’t that bad depending on the trim level and color you opt for but definitely the Black Appearance for sure!
I've always wanted a f150 ! And I finally got me one. ! Best truck out here hands down

that happened with my 2021 Lariat i now have a 2023 and i get the same ....no biggie for me .
Ya same thing with mine too lol
The most beautiful truck in the market 😮
Have a BAP ordered should be here in a few weeks similarly optioned for $59k, while a fully loaded Tremor was around $73k.
$65k is way too reasonable, I’ll beg Ford to jack the price up! And threaten dealerships to add crazy markup!
I think it’s actually way to much, 65k on an xlt is way to much, my lariat was less than this and looks much better
The issue with the Tremor is that you can't get a Powerboost or Coyote 5.0
Powerboost sucks anyway
2023 model year you can do a v8
I totally would have went tremor until I heard no V8 and goldy trims. I was hoping they would have had the BAP+tremor like the super duty, so its a lariat V8 BAP for me, should be here in a couple of weeks.

Love the truck reviews Ben.
When will Ford add 4WD Auto to the XLT??? Oh wait, I can just spend another $10k to get it in a Lariat. Silly me...
Maybe it’s just me, but it’s very weird seeing Platinum trim wheels on an XLT. Looks mismatched. I do like the package though besides that
Im pretty sure you can get a lariet for less then 65k
Black appearance package looks the best on the platinum

Good job in my favorite Ford pickup truck.

The downfall to the Tremor and Raptor packages is that you can’t use any Ford rebate money.
Not sure if a lot has changed since the video was made but in Canada a fully loaded Tremor is 86k. This one would be around 74k
A fully loaded Lariat is $83k.
Two things. 1. the Tremor comes with black Ford badges. 2. All XLTs come with the bigger screen whether it has a BAP or not.
@Unleashed Spar Correct
Is that package only with 5,5 bed?
That is a nice looking truck, but I agree its not worth the price. Ford should offer the black out package on the tremor

Rear coils are so much better
So what’s the difference between that and a lariat sport
