A weird link between the FFXII and Hat in Time soundtrack

I was kept awake at night by this discovery haunting me so you need to hear it too.
"Abandoning Power" from FF12 is surprisingly similar to A Hat in Time's "Clocktowers Beneath the Sea" and I'm here to show you why.
Sorry for the scuffed music at the end but it's here to show you that not every remix is meant to be, these things crash and burn horribly sometimes.
I like making these music comparison videos even if I don't do them often. I don't usually find crazy stuff like this and can't really go looking for far reaching connections, they just randomly spring up like this.

If i can jump on the wagon, i think the track White Avenue by Replus does a similar idea.
