Redcar police trashed every door in my house doing a "welfare" check on a previous occupant. They trashed a newly cleaned carpet. They changed the locks without leaving a note. They were so incompetent that when I rang up to report what I thought was a burglary they had no record of the incident and sent out a forensic team. I ended up with a whole lot of stess, a lot of wasted time and half the cost of the damaged caused. They are part of a police force that has been judged to be failing in every department. When you encounter them first hand you can see why. They caused a more problems than any criminals is likely to do.
