Between this and Dune 2 specifically for Cinematic/Atmosphere type of sound design for movies/trailers/documentary type of use. Which is the best choice?
Actually meant Zebra 2 as I was looking between the Zebra 2 vs Dune 2 for Cinematic sound when I came across this one. If anyone can answer which is the best choice of sound specifically for Cinematic work.
Zebra 2 and Dune 2 are pretty similiar, though if you want to tweak your presets a bit and are more into common subtractive synthesis Dune 2 would be better because Zebra 2 uses additive synthesis. But in the end it comes down to what you prefer in interface and avaiable sounds.
Miyuk9p, thanks for your reply. I'm trying the free demo to both now and it's i'm torn as they both sound good so I might have to get both. I do know if you get Zebra 2 and the HZ pack you will get the new Zebra 3 which is supposed to come out in a few months. If you have only Zebra 2 then you will have to pay additional 30 bucks. What I don't know and maybe you have the answer is the free upgrade a separate upgrade because the Zebra 2 and it's packs will not be compatible with Zebra 3. I would hate to lose Zebra 2 and packs as it will be different from 3 so I would want both separate. Do you happen to know the answer to this as i'm waiting back for reply from company. Thanks.
