My 2014 Scion FRS needed a face lift, so we swapped it out with a 2017 Subaru BRZ front bumper. The fitment was good, but I did learn a few things. The first thing you need to plan ahead for are the lights. The FRS has turn signals in the bumper, but the BRZ has the turn signals built into the headlights.
I ended up using the factory turn signal bulbs on the fog lights I bought off ebay. Looking back, I might have bought different lights altogether (like halo lights) and have the adapted to work with the car, but it did work just fine.
The next thing you need to have are the brackets in each of the far corners...where the side markers go. Otherwise its almost impossible to get those side markers to stay in.
Other than that, take your time and remember where all of the bumper clips go!

You need the 17 headlight bracket for the bumper to fit flush

I like the FRS front bumper, you could have just gotten it repaired and a nice splitter.... more but to each their own.

Were you able to use FRS bumper under cover with the BRZ bumper? All holes of the under bumper cover lined up with no modification needed?
The only issues were the slots around the headlights. I had to buy new ones that were for the BRZ bumper

This videos pretty old so not really expecting a response but I’m hopeful lol . Could I just swap that black piece from the old Frs bumper to the new bumper for the sidemarkers or is it a completely redesigned piece ?

Yeah there were two issues. The first was The fitment around the lights and the second was at the corners. I ended up buying new light brackets and that fixed the problem. I should have done that first. I think there's another video I posted that talks about it

Could you link the fog light housings? I am trying to do this but the generic brz fog housings I ordered have a much smaller opening and the bulb wont even fit in. Thanks

@@humanrat yes these look like the ones I bought. Keep in mind that the FRS bulbs do not fit in. I had to cut them. It's all in the video. Good luck!
@@TravelingDirector thank you yes what I meant to say was on the ones I got the opening was to small to even fit the glass part of the bulb in and was lined with an aluminum ring so it couldn't be sanded
Found your other video explaining your tire and wheel specs did you stay with stock or did you lower it?
Haven't got around to lowering it yet. Did the bumper swap and a door install. Next is steering wheel

I think I paid between 200-300
How much do you think a shop will charge me to install it for me
Just putting the bumper on? Taking the old one off too? The cheapest I could imagine is $80 and the most $200. It's easy to do, so I'm not sure
