Fairing replacement on the 2008 Kawasaki ZZR 600

I bought a salvage 2008 Kawasaki ZZR 600 two years ago that made been down twice and was sporting aftermarket fiberglass body work. I bought some new fairings from Bliss Star and over the weekend my friend and I installed them! The fairings and fit were very good...the aftermarket eBay vendor I bought the fairing bolts/screws/grommets from was a fail...more than half of the advertised items were missing, so we had to re-use some of the pieces from the old body work.

did u know that the entire zzr fairings (05-08) fits the 00-02 zx6!!!! and even the upper fairing bracket of a zzr fits the zx6 (aka, get rid of the birdcage)

I knew a lot of the pieces were inter-changeable I sold this bike a few months after this video ...I really enjoyed the body work swap out we did. But all those distracted/texting drivers veering into me....I decided to hang up the helmet and motorcycle for a little while -Paul

How do these compare to OEM's. I've been thinking of buying some but I am afraid that some of these aftermarkets are brittle or thin material.

I found the replacements to work well, just slow to arrive. End result was really nice and a lot lot cheaper than OEM

Bliss-Star, on eBay. Great fit, minimal issues at all

Well these are FAIRING replacement kits, so that's all that is sold. If you want to replace the tank...you need to look for one. I see used ones on eBay but usually have minor scratches or even dents. Good luck. (My tank was fine, the old aftermarket fairings had to go)

What help do you need? I just bought the aftermarket fairing kit , a hardware bumble of screws to fit it and went at it. We had a few spots we struggled but it all went together pretty nicely
