What about belle strange but special? 4 drop, does almost the same as quill, 2/4 body isnt terrible and can be massive lore swings. She is also inkable.
Without the focus on ramping it's harder to get up to the 10 ink to enable the 5 lore from Belle, some of these games were ending as early as turn 7 with the combo to close it out so ideally you wouldn't even need her
33:30 i have found the ruling for grand pabbie, i am really surprised by how bad lorcanas card text is. pabbie says whenever you heal 2 lore. gumbo pot says remove damage from up to 2 characters. so using gumbo pot is 1 action whever you simultaneously heal 2 characters, so pabbie should only give 2 lore but he is ruled to give 4 lore. i hope they learn how to write proper card text soon, this looks terrible.
"Whenever you remove 1 or more damage from one of your characters." It triggers just fine, you are adding extra wording talking about "actions" and things that don't exist. It triggers off of healing on one character, healing two characters is two triggers
While the gumbo pot exerting may only be one game action pabbie sees each character as independent sources of healing rather than lumping them all together. This means it works favorably with gumbo pot and jasmine that can heal more than one character at a time for multiple instances of the effects triggering lore gain for each
Pabbie specifies that the effect counts each time you remove from “one of your characters.” It is working as intended by giving four lore when you heal two characters using Gumbo Pot.
