A WALK THROUGH HISTORY - "B'KARA" 📖 ⚔️🛡️. Beautiful old Maltese architecture 😍. Sadly never been to that particular area of Birkirkara. That old historic church is beautiful from outside 😮. Apparently it's open everyday at 6PM. Also, it's open mornings at different times depending on day of week. Nice interesting walk Steve - THANKS 🚶🎥. Cheers 👍🇲🇹❤️🇪🇺
Mary 🇦🇺🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️ thanks for a great walk really enjoyed it, as I have said before I was born there, my dad family all there, and what a way to finish video with church bells 🔔🔔🔔ringing, love them,❤️❤️🇲🇹❤️❤️👍👍👍🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️
Great walking video Steve, through Birkirkara, very busy, and very interesting. You're right about the zebra crossings, look left and look right always. The railway station looks interesting, and the Church is beautiful. Thanks for sharing your walk.
Love this Video Steve, the house down St Rokku street that you said was being done up is where my Grandad, Nanna , Uncles and Aunts etc lived. My Dad returned in later life to look after Nanna and is where I also lived for a time. After my Nanna passed my Dad continued to live there until he sadly Passed. The house now looks like it is being restored so hopefully it will do justice to the families that have lived there.
ooooh... I just lurve being a first post Steve.. happy days! Over in May 25 and a trip to Mtarfa where I woz born and St Patricks, Sliema where my parents were married! .. seez you I hoping!
Very interesting walk Steve, lots of memory's of Birkirkara thanks for taking us along on the walk. Just a question if I may, We lived in Balzan and we would sometimes go to work with my dad when he was working at RAF Safi that was next to Luqa airport at the time. However we would drive through a town that had a humpback bridge in the middle of town and next to it was a lovely little church. Have you ever come across this town on your own travels, do you know the name of this town with the humpback bridge as I believe it was the only one of its kind in Malta
Oh Ok !! I stand corrrected 🙄 I guess cuz now they have put Burmarrad, Wardija, Qawra, Buġibba, Xemxija, and San Martin, as well as parts of Bidnija and Mistra, but I always known B'kara in old days the biggest
