That’s really helpful to see the AC controls with the one piece facia because I’m considering cutting my facia to instal a 9” android car play head unit with its own built in facia and so it’s great to be able to study how separate the AC unit is behind the facia on the work bench.
The size of this radio is a standard double din size. It is easy to replace but if you have steering wheel controls you will need additional special interfaces. Stay away from cheap android units sold on eBay and Ali express. If you have any issue with these the Chinese company will either not exist or not give you any support. You will be better off repairing this unit if it has a fault. This will be the cheapest solution. Otherwise if you want to replace I would suggest a brand name like Alpine or Pioneer. These companies have good support and you will probably need it if you are installing an aftermarket stereo. We wish you luck!!!
i have a 120 prado 07 gxl can i put the same screen on top of your gps on mine, yours shows time average fuel consumption and i think compass mine only has clock also great video
Hi, just caught this post, excellent, I have the same head unit, (26028), was going to remove it as I was hoping somehow there is a USB input on the back, so before I dig n pop n pull, my Q is, does this unit have the USB input, cheers
