Hi ! I got few questions about that maschine+. Can’t you plug numark scratcher straight in to the maschine+ ? Can you record scratches straight in to the maschine project?
Hi! Yeah you can plug the Numark straight into the Plus but I don't have any mics or instruments so it was the only thing I could use for the demo. And you can def record straight into Maschine but not into a linear timeline like other DAWs
Great vid, excatly what i’m searching for. Question : Is the 2 Maschine + line in are still ok when connecting the Komplete audio 6 ? If so, I suppose that make a total of 6 line in mono and 3 stéréo ? So potentially 6 mono Roland Boutique connecting in 😍 ?
Hey great video! I’ve been searching everywhere and can’t find the answer.. would you be able to use both USB ports to hook up two komplete audio 6’s? I’m hoping I’d be able to hook up two and use all the inputs and outputs of both interfaces as well as the maschine plus internal inputs and outputs simultaneously. Do you think that would be possible? Or if you choose the external interface does it not let you use the internal inputs/outputs?
Curious to find out if you can set up a sort of send/return with an audio interface to use guitar pedals as FX. Maybe sent a group to th interfaces output, then return back into the audio input for recording/sampling. Am able to do it with the Akai force since it has multiple outputs, hoping to try this with the M+.
Yeah I don't have any externals fx to try it out with but I'm pretty sure it will work. You can def route the audio from a pad/group to a specific output (not the master) so it should be possible.
How did you do to get the sound in your video ? Is MK3 connected to your Mac ? How do you get the sound recorded ? I can't even have Quicktime recording it
I have an external audio recorder (the Zoom h1n amzn.to/3hAeZN7) that I use to record the audio out of Maschine then I sync it up with the video in post
For the settings in audio Is it always in stereo pairs for the external soundcard or can you set it to mono? The thing is the behringer 18 20 is on the ni list as compatible, and i would link it with a 16 channel mono mixer, with an adat module connected to the behringer so i have 16 channels. But if its onlyv stereo max will be 8 stereo channels...
Hey, yeah you can def set it to mono. When sampling you can pick Ext. Mono or Ext. Stereo so that's why it selected a linked pair. I'm pretty sure the setup you are thinking about will work
Could you check if the monitoring of two at the same time is possible? Don’t need to record, would save me from having to buy and possibly to return the interface. 🙏🏼😎
@@dennisdelaat8852 Hey I just checked and it does work. Like I said before the internal sampler can only record 1 input at a time but if you just want to route audio through different sounds/groups it works perfectly
I believe so. The Plus is exactly the same size and same layout as the mk3. But I'm sure people will release skins specifically for the Plus pretty soon anyway
@@TheKitComplete Cool... thanks for the reply. I think it is possible to route the mic track w/fx into another track for sampling. Similar workflow to Live and most other DAWs I guess. Make sense... thanks for the great videos!
The Maschine already has pretty good audio but adding the Komplete audio 6 means you have more options in terms of inputs/outputs. I guess the simple answer is yes, depending on how you use it
sorry mate! one question. did you just plug the maschine into the audio 6? this not need to have plugged separately? 1 usb into the computer for maschine + 1 usb into the computer for audio 6? does this work with older maschines hardware?
Maschine (both the plus and the software versions) aren't really designed for recording full vocal tracks. You would need to use a DAW designed for that type of work
Not sure. You can check compatible devices here support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014155057-Which-Audio-MIDI-Devices-Are-Compatible-with-MASCHINE-Plus-via-USB-
Yeah with a lot of things you can plug straight into the Plus. But if you want to use a mic with phantom power you'll have to use a sound card. Also if you want to use multiple inputs/outputs you'll also need to use a sound card. I don't really have the equipment to show use cases, just wanted to show the general setup
Can you automate the effects on the input channel through which you have plugged in ur turntables..?
Yeah I'm pretty sure this is possible. Good idea!

I like the use of effects with your cuts. Nice work 👍
Glad you like them!
Brother you have grown a great deal of followers over one year good job.
Yeah thanks man!

Thanks man! I don't think the Maschine+ functions like that. Pretty sure you can only use the one interface at a time

External soundcard to a mixer and connect an fx module to the mixer.

Dope bro, that really looks easy to hook up!🙏🏾✊🏾
Yeah it was pretty straight forward
Question for you, are you able to control the Master Output of the track from the Interface?
Yeah, plus the Komplete audio 6 has dedicated controls for the master and 2 headphone outputs
For the settings in audio Is it always in stereo pairs for the external soundcard or can you set it to mono? Hey! I believe so. I don't think you would be able to record the inputs simultaneously but I think the routing is possible

Are the FX pre or post record? As in can you record/sample with FX? Or is it just on the output/monitor path?
I think the simple answer is no, the FX will not be recorded. But I'm sure you can route it so that the FX are recorded

one question.
did you just plug the maschine into the audio 6? this not need to have plugged separately? 1 usb into the computer for maschine + 1 usb into the computer for audio 6?
does this work with older maschines hardware?
Hi, so this is the Maschine Plus. It is the standalone version of the Maschine which means you can use it on its own without a computer.
Wait u got post fader effects on the pt01 ?
Yeah if you're running it through the maschine (hardware or software) you can add fx to it
What if you want to record full vocal tracks?
Maschine (both the plus and the software versions) aren't really designed for recording full vocal tracks. You would need to use a DAW designed for that type of work
Is that interface worth the 250 as an addition and did u plug it n 2 the maschine directly or a pc/mAc
It was plugged straight into the maschine. As far as if it's worth it it really just depends on what you need
@@TheKitComplete thank u have u ever used it with the Roland integra i7
@@RaHeru1 Not sure what you mean but I don't have an Integra 7 so no :)
I would buy that beat with the cuts
Cheers bro!
Are you letting it go for sale.
Nah man still not selling beats yet
Would you be willing to let me make a song on one of your beats.

Laying down vocal parts with FX seems doable here.. A demonstration?
I don't really have a mic to test it out with so no demo sorry
Can it do that with the mx1?
