To solve the repetition of material @40:34 is the paint a few of the wood slats in different colors in SketchUp so you can use the same material in D5 and change the position.
Hello, nice small tutorial. I got alot of tips and motivation to try new things :) I asked myself, if its possible to render a video in good quality without it being too big. Like 600MB. What can I do to make a good loking Video, but only with 25 or max 75MG big? So I can send them easier? Kind greets!
Stop using the yellowish tint on renders. It's unrealistic. Very rarely do you see this tint on real life cameras when you take a picture or video. Stick with a very neutral white lighting (color grading) style. It helps if you take a picture yourself on your phone of trees or a garden, and notice how neutral it is, regardless of the time. Always aim for a overcast feel when rendering for realism.
Sorry but I stopped watching because the scene was very moody and dark, is there any chance you can do a new video with bright and happy renderings? People usually like it more
Its because its sunset + raining. You can turn off the rain and change the time to 2 PM for example, then it gots brighter. You can also turn the sun around if you dont like the direction of sunlight. Try it out ^^
It's crazy everything D5 can do, incredible project and renders! Congratulations

D5 Render Master!!!
very nice video!! thank you
Love this, thanks guys
No problem 🥰
how can i get this model ?
waaww i like it I follow all your steps but I could not get the same result. My render looks like a cartoon
Try downloading our finished scene from the lesson description and compare the two to help you understand where you may have went wrong.
I think you could have resolved the texture repetition issue by activating the "Triplanar" option in the material.
Is it possible to import a revit model and do this render?
Yes

Can i ask you about the name of the book at the beginning of the video ?. Thank you very much.
Hello, if you are still looking for the book, here is the name: "XS: Big Ideas, Small Buildings"
this is more like for art , because for an architectural project is just wasting time, the client never pay for something like that.

exactly. It's not at all "cinematic" or realistic to use this type of effect
