Carrie Underwood is a true child of Christ. She spreads his word wherever she goes, and doesn't care who doesn't like it. Any song about him she truly is singing to him, and we're just lucky to hear her!
Yep I only pray these guys are saved. I want everyone to come to JESUS AND KNOW HIS LOVE FOR THE WORLD. IM A DRINKING MAN MYSELF I just hope these guys understand the meaning of the song it's not only about the amazing vocals.
Carrie was not at her best when you saw her do 'Champion' live. Do yourself a favor & watch the official video. The video itself is awesome, let along her singing the song itself. She shows her best then as well. Carrie can't be beat. She is so very talented.
You have to listen to Carrie’s performance at the ACM awards with CeCe, it’s amazing. Also there’s another version of O Holy Night where she’s in a white gown. Beautiful
Cry pretty American idol performance. Blown away medley performance. ACM My Savior Medley performance. Alone by Heart cover. Absolutely amazing. You'll love them
I just noticed on one of yalls videos i was watching that music guy was wearing a MD shirt. If yall happen to be from the eastern shore, let me give you an honorary "yeeyee" my brothers 🤙
Thanks for the Christmas present - Been waiting for y'all to react to Carrie's version! This displays her vocal range so well, and she means every word she sings. You can feel it in every fiber of your being. This performance is right up there with "How Great Thou Art" feat Vince Gill. I knew y'all would enjoy her version. Merry Christmas...Cheers! 👊
Carrie Underwood is incredible! Love the Christmas sweaters guys! Lol! I'm diabetic & can't drink anymore, but Crown Royal was my ex-husband's favorite! May he rest in peace! Love your reactions!
Merry Christmas y'all! I do love this performance. You nailed it talking about all the tools that she pulled out. Her ability to crescendo and decrescendo quickly, Her talent to ever so slightly slide on the pitch and bring it back to center, Her mastery of controlling the microphone almost playing it like a trombone, Her emotional wisdom in leading the listener on a journey with her, so many more things that could be pointed out, but bottom line, this was a masterclass on every level! I come from a Choral background, I participated in multiple choirs at the collegiate level for several years. I do miss the opportunities I had to sing, and will always be greatful for the training I received that helped me learn so much and helped nurture my love for music. I enjoyed listening to you break down music and what you enjoy. You aren't the most technical reaction channel I watch, but I think yall might have the most fun doing it!
I hope y’all add O Holy Night by David Phelps. I have heard so many versions of this song since it is my all time favorite hymn EVER, but David is going to be one of the best versions of this song you will EVER hear. If y’all like links I will add it
This did an amazing job! She and Celion Dion do the best versions of this. The only lyrical difference is that Celion does the original lyric, "Chains shall he break for the slave is our brother."
@Bourbon Country Reacts you'll be impressed! Her voice is stunning! An interesting fact: Did you know that this song was for a time banned by the Catholic Church? When it was discovered that the lyrics were written by an atheist and the melody by a Jewish man. Merry Christmas from PA
Yaw should check out the live video ls fans from her concert recorded “Welcome to the Jungle” or “Poor Everybody else”. Her performance of “Paradise City” and Choctaw County Fair” amazing vocals live at the CMA big summer event in Nashville, “Spinning Bottles” live so emotional and is pregnant singing that tune, the Hymns medley sung w/CeCe Winnens (sp?) amazing, there is an epic slowed down, almost haunting version of “Blown Away” (my favorite BTW) it performed live at the Apple Music Session-that whole set is worth a listen. On a different note for a sec… Dolly Parton did a collab with Pentatonix, might be worth a listen if you'd like to give an A-capella group a try, they tend to lean Pop/R&B/Jazz/and sometimes a bit of Rock-they are a 3 time grammy winners, nominated for another (4th) Grammy for their Evergreen Album (there is also a BTS short Documentary) released last year…they write, and arrange (along w/Ben Bram), they cover songs breathing new life into old arrangements-they are about to have a Hollywood Star placed in Feb 2023 and are starting their world tour. They are well worth a listen should you be interested:-) I love Carrie! Their are one or two times where she was off on a live performance and it was always due to being sick or her voice was just tired from a long tour-she still went out there and gave it her all and still sounded amazing-it just shows how dedicated she is, and she will never lip sync-she is amazing and I respect her work ethic and passion to leave it all out on the stage, healthy or sick. I’m glad yawl chose this one to hear!
I was thinking of a request that hadn't been done yet. You guys like great musicians not just singers. How about Barbara Mandrell and/ or her sisters. Very talented vocalists and multi instrument musicians. Between the three of them they can play just about any instrument you can think of. I found a few live medley videos where they're showing off their skills. We always hear about the fellas who can play how about some ladies.
We're unlikely to react to those on channel, because they're not country. I heard her cover Paradise City, and it was excellent, but, she really didn't compare to Axl Rose doing his own tune. IMO, there are a few rock vocalists that just can't be replicated. Axl Rose Ozzy Freddy Mercury RJ Dio Ann Wilson - Keith
The sweaters made my eyes bleed, lmao. OMG! I liked Dustin's til he played with the balls *bites tongue* Now, I'm going to say this about Carrie Underwood. This woman won American Idol the day she auditioned. She is phenomenal!! Dustin, the bass distortion sound we both heard comes from mic she was holding. Those mics are blue tooth, and if there is feedback from an instrument, those damned mics pick it up and drown out the vocalist. I've seen it happen live, and it's awful. Carrie, however, moves that mic away from her mouth so you hear her and not other instruments. On top of that, Carrie also knows her own vocal range and when to pull the mic away. This is my favorite Christmas song, and she knocked it out of the park. Not a crown drinker. Jingle balls, good lawd! I'm going to be giggling over the end of this video in my sleep. I hope you two and those you hold near and dear have a very Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas!! She does a beautiful job but I have to say my all time Fav O Holy Night is by Martina. She has all the tools too and like Carrie selectively uses them depending on the song. My favorite Mary Did You Know is by Kenny Rogers and Wynonna. My favorite Run Run Rudolph is by Dwight Yokem. I also highly recommend Merry Christmas from the Family by Montgomery Gentry as it is one of my favorite. Alabama put out some beautiful original music for Christmas too. Christmas in Dixie is a classic. Oh and Kenny Chesney All I want for Christmas is a real good tan. Love that one his island inspired jingle bells is pretty cool too.
I just bought my husband some bourbon for Christmas. He won’t get it until tomorrow. It’s Willet Pot Still Reserve Bourbon. It was pretty pricey. Just wanted y’all’s opinion on it.
Lots of folks are mixed on their opinions of that drink, Keith and I both like it. Interesting little trick, when you husband takes a drink after the 2nd or third sip ask him if he tastes ‘lemon cake’. If he doesn’t like the whisky it at least comes in a cool ass looking bottle. Merry Christmas! -Dustin
@@BourbonCountryReacts I think it has some butterscotch notes. I can’t wait to try it myself. The bottle is pretty freaking cool. It almost reminds me of a genie lamp. I will ask him about the lemon cake. Do you guys have a video with that bourbon? I hope y’all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I know you are not fans of HomeFree but you should listen to their O'Holy Night, and you should also listen to HomeFree with the Oak Ridge Boys, Beautiful Star of Bethlehem with Tom Eastman on guitar. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

She absolutely has one of the best voices around, no denying that. Girl can sang! ❤
Carrie brought the fire to the Christmas Carol and she is called the queen of country for a reason🔥insane vocals of the very highest order
She's so talented it's ridiculous!
You seriously can't go wrong with Carrie Underwood, she is just so incredibly talented!
Carrie has one of the greatest female voices in country music ! She is an angel and a true child of God
Not just female, voice over all. No guy sings better than her
From what I have read, her faith is very important to her and those are the songs that she shines on.
We're starting to see that as a theme. - Keith
She can sing......she becomes the SONG!!!!!!
No one outshines her.❤❤
I love her version of this song. Her version of Do You Hear what I Hear is also one of my all time favorites!

Blake Shelton - Kiss My Country Ass (Official Music Video) and Blake Shelton - Hillbilly Bone (ft. Trace Adkins) both good songs!
That girl can saaaaang!
Idk if you’ve heard her cover paradise city but I think you’d all love that! Her energy is insane
Love the sweaters. Great reaction. She has an incredible voice. She believes what she's singing and it shows.

Dustin you're never allowed to wear that shirt again. Great reaction guys. Carrie Underwood does unbelievably well on sacred music always has.
Thank you. Dustin... NEVER. - Keith
I pulled the headphones out for this one. She's really going for it but nailing it.

Y'all gotta hear her do mary did you know. And yes Carrie Underwood is AMAZING.....I cried when I heard her sing Gospel or Christmas songs
The main thing that I noticed about her performance was her breath control that woman can hold a note

I'd have to put Carries Version on Par with Celine Dion's version of this song. Amazing!
Huh. I haven't heard Celine's version. Will have to check it out. - Keith
Merry Christmas 🎄 The sweaters are great. Great reaction. Thank you for all the fun times with you during the last year.
Thanks Kat! Merry Christmas!
She can reach in and grab your heart when she sings especially on an emotional song. Happy Holidays to you both
She really shows her talent in Just A Dream and the video is very emotional
just wanted to wish you a happy new year. hope all is ok since haven't seen you in a week. have a great new years and stay safe
I agree, the low cello was too loud in a couple of spots! Otherwise an amazing performance!!! Thank you for this reaction!
Just chills! Merry Christmas y’all!
Look at those sweaters! Im not a huge fan of opera music, but Josh groban knocks this song out of the park
Merry Christmas 🤶 🎄 Wonderful reaction!
Thanks! And to you as well. - Keith

Totally dig "their name."

Her live version of Mary did you know as well as softly and tenderly and she just did tribute to Vince gil with his song go rest high

Amazing! Still nobody touches Jennifer nettles live version. Check it
