I have to ask, if you set the access policy to locked for 7 years, it was first time doing it and Microsoft Documentation was not clear about not being able to delete it once it was locked is there ANY way for Microsoft to remove the policy or at least delete the storage account? I ask becasue my first time setting this up and I have locked a client into 7 years with an access policy and turns out our backup solution doesnt support MS's immutable storage
@@resolutepixel I know this is an old conversation so you have probably forgotten but I just wanted to mention this: I've been paying for charges on a logo I made 3 years for forgetting to delete the agreement - it's been 3 years and I only ever used that logo once. These companies are unpredictable!

I have been testing with inmutable policies at container level, time retention has reached, but i cant delete the files.....""Failed to delete blob container '....': The requested operation is not allowed as the container has a inmutable storage with versioning enabled"" I put 120 days retention on february. Any idea?
Hello Scott I have created storage account by selecting immutable policy. Now I'm not able to delete the storage account and blobs inside in it. Could you help me how to delete the storage account.

if the scenario is the company goes out of business I cant see how MS could keep billing for stoprage for a closed or deceased entity
