@mikelake, dude you’re absolutely out of your mind if you truly believe you didn’t accomplish anything in this video!
From what I saw, you fully mounted the trans and motor in as one! Then you finished up that transmission tunnel, then also fitted the rear subframe, while also figuring out your coil overs.
You’re absolutely killing it with this build! Not to mention the speedy progress with speedy uploads with tons of awesome progress and planning!

nice job Mike, the lancer is moving along nicely, you do need an english wheel though (roll the tunnels and other sheet metal without having to use angles, shoot us a mail if you need any advice!

No hate but wouldn't it be alot easier to use the fuel tank from a Evo along the with the rear subframe, diff etc?? Loving the build

Easier, yes. But first, you have to find an evo rear end which is next to impossible here in Australia. Then you have to pay for us which is stupid expensive. Then you need spare axles. Diff etc for when you break them. So the mx5 rear end makes much more sense in the end 😁

I believe they're all the same! I'm fitting the bigger NB miata rear diff and axles into this subframe.
