At that moment, someone came and greeted us. We all heard the voice, but we could not see who greeted us. The Messenger of Allah responded to the greeting and said, 'He is your brother from the Jinn community; respond to his greeting.' We all said, 'Wa alaykum as-salam.' The Prophet then asked him: 'Who are you?' The unseen being replied: 'O Messenger of Allah! I am your servant, Arfeta, the son of Shamrah, from the Jinn community.' The Messenger of Allah said: 'Welcome, O Arfeta! May Allah have mercy on you. Appear to us in your form.' He then appeared. His body was covered in hair, his hair overshadowed his face, his eyes were skewed to one side, his mouth rested on his chest, and his teeth were like ivory tusks. When we saw him like this, we were all frightened. This strange being said: 'O Beloved of Allah! Send someone with me to invite my people to the religion, and I promise to bring them back safe and sound.' The Prophet then said to us: 'Whoever goes with him for this service will have Paradise made obligatory for him.' Out of fear, none of us could respond. The Prophet asked three times, but still, no one replied. Salman Al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "Hazrat Ali stood up and said, 'O Messenger of Allah! Command me, and I will go for this service.' The Prophet was pleased. He turned to Arfeta and said: 'Be ready tonight at Harrah. I will send someone to you who will judge with my judgment, speak with my words, and convey my message to the Jinn community.' Arfeta was from the Jinn. When night fell, we prayed the Isha prayer with the Prophet. All the companions dispersed. The Prophet turned to us and said: 'O Salman! O Ali! Come with me.' We went to Harrah. There we saw that Arfeta was riding a sheep-sized camel and holding a horse-sized camel. The Prophet placed Hazrat Ali on that camel and me behind him. He tied my eyes with the edge of his turban and said: 'O Salman! Do not open your eyes unless Ali tells you to. Do not get off the camel unless he tells you to. Do not fear anything you hear.' Then he turned to Ali and said, 'Now go!' We followed Arfeta quickly. When morning came, Hazrat Ali said to me, 'Get down!' I got down and saw that we had arrived at a barren, waterless, treeless, rocky place." Salman Al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: "Ali Al-Murtaza led the prayer as Imam. Arfeta and I followed him, and we prayed the Fajr prayer. After completing our supplications, the surroundings became clear. We saw that we were surrounded by Jinn soldiers whose eyes shone like torches. They stood with awe. Ali ibn Abi Talib paid them no attention and addressed the Jinn community. He invited them to Islam. One Jinn objected and said: 'O Ali! Are you implying that the religion of our ancestors is false?' Ali ibn Abi Talib replied: 'We are on the right path. You, however, deny and reject the verses of Allah, the Exalted.' He was distressed and turned his face to the sky, recited the Greatest Name of Allah, raised his hands, and prayed: 'O Allah, the best of helpers! Send fire upon these and destroy the stubborn and deniers among them!' Salman Al-Farsi narrates: "At that moment, there was an earthquake, and fire began raining down from the sky. When the Jinn saw this, they all fell on their faces. I too was terrified and lost consciousness. When I regained my senses, I saw that some Jinn had been burned by the fire descending from the sky, and smoke covered their bodies. Ali Al-Murtaza stood and said to the survivors: 'O Jinn community! Lift your heads. Surely, Allah, the Exalted, has destroyed the oppressors and the arrogant.' Then he continued: 'O Jinn community! Know that this is now the era of Muhammad Mustafa. The Earth, which was once filled with oppression, must now be filled with faith and justice.' He invited them to Islam, praised the Beloved Prophet, and spoke of his miracles. The remaining Jinn, amazed by the knowledge and wisdom of Hazrat Ali, submitted themselves to the truth and said: 'We believe in Allah, His Messenger, and the Messenger’s envoy. His words are true. We do not deny them.' They recited the testimony of faith and embraced Islam." Salman Al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) continues: "By this time, night had fallen. We mounted the camel again, followed Arfeta, and reached the place called Harrah before dawn. We prayed Fajr with the Prophet. When the Prophet saw us, he was pleased and praised Allah. He turned to Ali ibn Abi Talib and asked, 'O Ali! What did you find the Jinn community to be like?' Hazrat Ali replied: 'O Messenger of Allah! By the blessing of your prayer, all praise is due to Allah, they believed in Allah, the Exalted, and were honored to become Muslims. As for those who rejected this invitation, they were destroyed by the fire descending from the sky, by Allah’s will.'" Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Alhamdulillah! Fear will not leave them until the Day of Judgment.'"

During the Battle of Khaybar, the roles of Abu Bakr and Umar are detailed extensively in Islamic historical sources. According to Islamic accounts, both companions played significant roles in this pivotal event: 1. Abu Bakr: During the Battle of Khaybar, Abu Bakr was assigned as one of the commanders of the Muslim army. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sent Abu Bakr to lead the effort to capture the Khaybar fortress. However, due to the fortress's strong defenses, it could not be conquered on that day. This demonstrates Abu Bakr's courage and leadership on the battlefield (Ibn Hisham, Sirat an-Nabi, Vol. 3). 2. Umar: Similarly, Umar was also appointed to lead an effort to capture the Khaybar fortress. Despite his attempts, the fortress remained unconquered during his leadership as well. This highlights the formidable challenge posed by the Khaybar fortress. Umar's bravery and determination throughout the battle were widely noted (Tabari, History of the Prophets and Kings, Vol. 2). Ultimately, the fortress was conquered under the leadership of Ali. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) stated that the person who would conquer Khaybar was someone "who loves Allah and His Messenger, and they love him." He then handed the banner to Ali, who successfully led the conquest. This event showcases the complementary qualities and leadership roles of the companions. Salman Al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates:
"On a rainy day, we were sitting in the mosque in the presence of the Messenger of Allah, along with some of the companions. At that moment, someone came and greeted us. We all heard the voice, but we could not see who greeted us. The Messenger of Allah responded to the greeting and said, 'He is your brother from the Jinn community; respond to his greeting.' We all said, 'Wa alaykum as-salam.' The Prophet then asked him:
'Who are you?' The unseen being replied:
'O Messenger of Allah! I am your servant, Arfeta, the son of Shamrah, from the Jinn community.' The Messenger of Allah said:
'Welcome, O Arfeta! May Allah have mercy on you. Appear to us in your form.'
He then appeared. His body was covered in hair, his hair overshadowed his face, his eyes were skewed to one side, his mouth rested on his chest, and his teeth were like ivory tusks. When we saw him like this, we were all frightened. This strange being said:
'O Beloved of Allah! Send someone with me to invite my people to the religion, and I promise to bring them back safe and sound.' The Prophet then said to us:
'Whoever goes with him for this service will have Paradise made obligatory for him.' Out of fear, none of us could respond. The Prophet asked three times, but still, no one replied.
Salman Al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) says:
"Hazrat Ali stood up and said, 'O Messenger of Allah! Command me, and I will go for this service.'
The Prophet was pleased. He turned to Arfeta and said:
'Be ready tonight at Harrah. I will send someone to you who will judge with my judgment, speak with my words, and convey my message to the Jinn community.'
Arfeta was from the Jinn.
When night fell, we prayed the Isha prayer with the Prophet. All the companions dispersed. The Prophet turned to us and said:
'O Salman! O Ali! Come with me.'
We went to Harrah.
Do not fear anything you hear.'
Then he turned to Ali and said, 'Now go!'
We followed Arfeta quickly. When morning came, Hazrat Ali said to me, 'Get down!' I got down and saw that we had arrived at a barren, waterless, treeless, rocky place."
Salman Al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates:
"Ali Al-Murtaza led the prayer as Imam.
One Jinn objected and said:
'O Ali! Are you implying that the religion of our ancestors is false?'
Ali ibn Abi Talib replied: 'We are on the right path. You, however, deny and reject the verses of Allah, the Exalted.'
He was distressed and turned his face to the sky, recited the Greatest Name of Allah, raised his hands, and prayed:
'O Allah, the best of helpers! Send fire upon these and destroy the stubborn and deniers among them!'
Salman Al-Farsi narrates:
"At that moment, there was an earthquake, and fire began raining down from the sky.
Surely, Allah, the Exalted, has destroyed the oppressors and the arrogant.'
Then he continued: 'O Jinn community! Know that this is now the era of Muhammad Mustafa. The Earth, which was once filled with oppression, must now be filled with faith and justice.'
He invited them to Islam, praised the Beloved Prophet, and spoke of his miracles.
The remaining Jinn, amazed by the knowledge and wisdom of Hazrat Ali, submitted themselves to the truth and said:
'We believe in Allah, His Messenger, and the Messenger’s envoy. His words are true. We do not deny them.'
They recited the testimony of faith and embraced Islam."
Salman Al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) continues:
"By this time, night had fallen. We mounted the camel again, followed Arfeta, and reached the place called Harrah before dawn. We prayed Fajr with the Prophet. When the Prophet saw us, he was pleased and praised Allah.
He turned to Ali ibn Abi Talib and asked, 'O Ali! What did you find the Jinn community to be like?' Hazrat Ali replied:
'O Messenger of Allah! By the blessing of your prayer, all praise is due to Allah, they believed in Allah, the Exalted, and were honored to become Muslims. As for those who rejected this invitation, they were destroyed by the fire descending from the sky, by Allah’s will.'"
Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
'Alhamdulillah! Fear will not leave them until the Day of Judgment.'"
