Remember when yhwach goes to sleep the shadow swapped him with Jugrem, It was in cour 2. Thats the foreshadow for The powers being shared by Jugrem when Yhwachs asleep. I think the translation or the way it was phrased in the anime is a little off for Bazz. Bazz was targeting the exact moment Yhwachs power came to Jugrem so he could kill it and then the Bambis could kill Yhwach. Both of their plots are going at the same time. Honestly most of the fights in this part of TYBW are all running concurrently.
His uncle was...terrible to him. Jugram probably deep down even thanked Yhwach for freeing him from his uncle's abuses. If only Bazz-b ever saw things from Jugram's point of view and understood how he really felt, things wouldn't have turned out this bad. Jugram never had a reason to kill Yhwach to begin with, it was only Bazz-b's goal... But Bazz-b never even asked for Jugram's opinions. And Yhwach was the first person ever who treated Jugram like a valuable person instead of a worthless weakling. I'm sure Bazz-b did really care for Jugram, but he never showed it in the right way. He never treated his friend like an actual friend, but only like a "loyal side-kick." It was already too late when he realized his mistake... As for Jugram, I'm not gonna spoil it but you'll eventually see what HIS mistake was, too. FRIEND is honestly a tragedy, but a beautiful one.
