  • This is just a video for my friends who own Mitsubishi iMiEV electric cars (and clones) on where the electric heater is, and one of the reasons why it may not heat as well as we would like.

We had the iMiev at the PV company I worked for, back in the days, when it was brand new, before the Renault Zoe came out. Costed 40 k€ (incl. VAT) then. 🤯 Yesterday I bought a used Model Y LR for 37 k€ (incl. VAT). EVs come of age! Greetings from Germany!

Hi Benjamin, just wondering is it safe to use underbody protection? I have Peugeot ion and it is started to rust at the underbody. Can I just sand it and then apply some underbody protection?

I don't see why not. It's just a car like any other as far as metal goes.

@@BenjaminNelsonX Thanks for the quick reply. But do I have to take any extra precaution before sanding and applying underbody protection, since it is electrical car

What is that heater used for and why is it powered while the car is parked.

It's the heat for the car. Just the regular heat that warms up the passenger compartment in the winter. It's powered on because the car is on and I turned on the heat to test and show it off.

Hey mate I’m hoping you can help me out. If you’re familiar with series hybrid ev like Fisker. It might help explain my goal easier. Basically I have an 06 Chevy trailblazer. I want to disconnect the tranny from the engine. I want to install 2 powerful alternators that charge a set of 6 batteries in parallel. The goal being I want to connect an EV motor to my rear axle and drive the car using electric only. While my gas engine runs the timing belt and alternators. Is my theory possible?? Please help. I’ve contacted several companies and know one knows if this would work.

I would use a 4cyl to begin with I had a trailblazer the inline 6 wasn't the best on gas anyway and there a heavy body on frame unibody would be lighter for better power to weight ratio.

@@BenjaminNelsonX Chick-Fil-A they used to use cars with cow print on them with "Eat mor chiken" on the side of them

Ha! No, my car did NOT come from Chick-Fil-A!
On the original Japanese version of this car, you could get it from the factory with cow spots.
My car was just plain white, so I made the black spots to make my own Moo Moo Edition.

I did once get a free chicken sandwich by taking my car through the Chick-Fil-A drive-thru on customer appreciation day.
