- Flying the DJI Avata 2 in Manual / M-Mode via LOS for the first time.
The rates are set to what i use for filming.
Rates:
Roll: 30 / 500 / 0.6
Pitch: 30 / 500 / 0.6
Yaw: 70 / 650 / 0.66
The full flight was 3:50min. Started with 93% battery and ended with 51%.
Its flown with the DJI FPV Remote Controller 3.

Excellent flying, world top class!! My Avata 2 CE/EU version with stock rates felt like a flying brick..Guess that's an FCC with different rates and a very skilled pilot, difference is lika night and day-You got a new sub , greetings from Sweden !

avata 2 is pretty fun and nimble but it can't recover from dives very well if there is a bit of wind

And the battery did not explode even. Good Job DJI. Oh and Quadmovr. Yep DJI truly does need to make a FPV 2 that goes over 120mph and has their ease of flying tech and camera gimbal perhaps even a dual axis gimbal talk about major sales then.

@quadmovr, at moment 1:36, it was that famous YAW "collapse" from the Avata, right?
i dont know if that was the known 'bug'. but it was for sure not a controlled movement.
@@quadmovr always with the same pattern - YAW together with Propwash - and freaks out, for 1 or 2 seconds... but yes, for sure that known "bug"

Mine got destroyed by falling from the sky with a simple turn got the yaw of death and didn't recover, how are you not getting that? It is a well known problem with A1 & A2
heard of it being a problem on the avata 1. didnt had any problems with the avata 2 yet.

If you’re flying an Avata 2, get plenty of height in Sport mode first then switch to Manual mode. Be ready to quickly select Sport mode again if/when you get disoriented. That way you’ll hopefully not impact the ground before you regain control. Good luck.
Lmao when I started fpv there was no simulators. I just ripped it and crashed over and over again. But I got the hang of it. And I straight out of the gate flew in nothing but acro mode! Angle and horizon and normal and beginning mode will only hinder you
