@@jonasDoguedeBordeaux Wasnt bad at all, a little less warm than the b200 with a little less umph.. Needed higher sensitivity speakers than my epos es11s.. Wasnt crazy on the digital volume control. Bought a lovely a120, really really nice. Fitted a new blu alps as there was a little bit of crackle, and she is stunning now... Might be a keeper.
@@jonasDoguedeBordeaux i changed the tweeter crossover capacitors to some far to expensive muldorf silver oil ones because i love those little speakers... Worth it? Probably not, but still sound superb, if not £120 better... Lol
@@deans2147 hi mate the tweeter uses capacitors to filter out low frequency and blocks Dc the quality of these capacitors used is very important 👌 I like to use matched capacitors I use a meter to get value the same say you used a 4.7 uf and one capacitor gave a reading of 4.5 up and the other 3.7 if you have a batch of ten capacitors it is possible to match two or more. they say 5% tolerance 10% good caps are 3% or lower 🤔
Hi, mate. I have used them To be honest, they are ok nout to shout about I had a musical fidelity X 10 modified it was nice Yet using a quality pre amplifer Like the vtl I used to own, that was really good
It was OK mate I was there I just connected it to make sure everything worked OK then I would take it and put amp back together after mods and I wouldn't put my kids in danger m8!!
Have you heard the Musical Fidelity A1000 n prea amp ? Which amp would you recommend which makes the instrument sound as they should Currently i have two ROtel power can’t remember the model but it was upgraded
Hi, the a1000 was a very good integrated amplifer loads of reviews online may help you to decide what is your budget as you might find something better cheaper
@@jonasDoguedeBordeaux hi thanks for the quick reply , I am currently have a tangband coaxial built n apparently it sound fantastic , what I would like is a amp which make’s instrument sound like it should with out colouration as it was recorded, let’s the budget 250 to 300
Hu nate, it is a good job. yiu sent a 2nd messge never seen last one Musical fidleity are decent amps but never heard thus one what is tour source and speakers

How did you get rid of the crackle (Is it d.c. on the switching gear?) and is it a permanent fix? I've seen a few of your A1 videos which inspired me to buy one and get it back up to spec over the summer. Cheers.
I had a b200 which took my breath.. Sold it which i shouldn't have done, but im waiting on the newer 2008 a1 to arrive.. Im hoping for good things.
