-Hulk. That was a perfect line for this show.
Hilarious line
I laughed out loud at that moment 😂
Yep. Fantastic!
Deadpool: Ruffalo or Norton these recasting's are so confusing
I died. I was laughing so hard my wife came to see if I was okay
when abomination was explaining his story I was actually nodding in agreement. Bc the US really did all that too him so he could take down the hulk
That's the insidious nature of his evil. He's using half-truths to disguise his real intentions.
@@emergencyawesome yeah I did get that vibe towards the end of his speech. had me in the first half not going to lie
The military didn't do that to him. He volunteered to take part in the program. And he knew that it was to hunt down Hulk before he even accepted it.
U didn’t watched hulk 08
Yeah, he was hired to do a job and dosed w crazy unstable medications. He was trying to handle a threat. Such a great movie, idk y people hate on it so much.
The A113 is actually a very old Pixar/Disney Easter egg.
It’s in all of the Pixar movies.
It was originally the Class number of where John Lasseter, Brad Bird and a lot of the those guys went to at Cal Arts
I literally thought of this the second I seen A113
It's a very well known Easter egg, I wonder why he didn't catch it
A lot of references by Emergency Awesome are baseless.
Thank you for being another person who knew the true meaning
i feel like everyone should know this
I love that the Abomination kept mentioning those seven pen pal soulmates that he wanted to get a piece of land with I'm guessing that is a Easter egg for the Thunderbolts
Best part!
who would be the 7?
Hell yeah
I think its just that group we see in a therapy session in trailers.
so no red hulk?
Kind of a grim but cool theory. Hulk goes back to find out he has a son, some time passes and we don’t see him. All of a sudden the avengers on earth hear of something ripping its way through the galaxy towards them, something big, something angry, and something green. I think something happens on sakkar, either the loss of his son or something equally terrible, and it just breaks Bruce, allowing for the hulk to completely take over. But not just the hulk, but the most powerful version of him we’ve seen on screen, and in his savage rage, the only thing he can remember is earth. How they treated him like a monster. How they hated him. How they wanted him gone. They did this to him he thinks. So he starts a path of destruction towards our hero’s, which have to think of some solution to stop him. Idk I just really hope the don’t ruin hulks character. He IS the hulk after all, the strongest, or at least had the abilities to become the strongest, avenger and it really seems like marvels turning his character into a big kitten for laughs. I wanna see hulk breaking stuff, I wanna see hulk going wild, I wanna see hulk smash for gods sake. Please marvel bring him back.
I'd LOVE to see them have the balls to do WWH AND Future Imperfect. Maestro Hulk is absolutely terrifying (so is Doc Green and The Immortal Hulk). Doc Green becoming the Maestro is something he thought might happen so he literally depowered himself from that but Doc Green was trained by Shang chi or Iron Fist, as or more intelligent than Mr. Fantastic, and had an adamantium forge. He essentially had potential to become a Thanos-level threat to Earth. The Maestro is a survivor of just Mankind fucking itself over and in the sadly-forgotten novel "What Savage Beast" Maestro is so strong (this is the story I'd LOVE to see, kinda a World War HulkS, plural) and so convincing, and has over a century of experience on anyone else that he goes around the multiverse gathering up an ARMY of Hulk,s and steals Hulk and Betty's son, Brett (think Gray Hulk, a bit weaker, perhaps, but the potential to be as powerful as his daddy was there)
Hey I noticed you pointed out A113, that might actually be more of a Disney Pixar reference. They hide A113 into most if not all of their projects! It refers to the original classroom of the creators' college, California Institute of the Arts.
Yep. Looked for this comment.
What does it mean tho
Was gonna say the same thing 👍

He’s definitely going to be apart of the Thunderbolts. They are setting up Word War Hulk as well.
"Word War Hulk" hulk travels to sakaar to compete in their national spelling bee championship.
@@sammalone7881 thunderbolts is going be the MCU’s version of the Dark Avengers. I could see him hanging out with John Walker, Baron Zemo, and Yelena.
@@thorinwoods2642 Frank Castle! We definitely need him, because Jon Bernthal makes everything better. PLus, y'know, he's fuckin Frank Castle! (In the ocmics he gets some War Machine Armor so there ya go, he doesn't have to go to the level of violence that Fiege is so worried about depicting nor does he have to use traditional weaponry. Plus as badass as Rhode is, Frank in some Iron Man armor, and knowingh ow to use it? that's outright terrifying!)
I literally was just about to search for this
Awesome timing!
I laughed out loud when Bruce said that he's an entirely different person now.
4:06 All three of those can describe Iron Man.
10:45 She wasn’t referring to the character.
18:05 The fight happened specifically in Harlem, which is Luke Cage’s neighborhood.
I love that She-Hulk feels like the MCU world getting focus, like we get to move other character's stories along in the background of Jen's story and expand on how the MCU works. Most MCU content is super focused on a specific crisis that is happening to the main character, not a bad thing, but this is so much more "Just live in the world for a little bit."
I agree. I’m happy how fast paced this show is, and it’s refreshing in a way. Glad that Phase 4 isn’t all connected, and is abstract in a way and not tied to 1 singular crisis at the moment. Like, just let these characters deal with whatever personal life things going on lol. Eventually everything will tie, but for now, let’s enjoy the ride.
@@xxxman25 fast paced? Literally nothing has happened in 2 episodes
@Kathryn Elizabeth 😂🤣😂 someone is triggered by reality. The viewership on this trash heap is going to be worse than ms. marvel
@@atasteofreality609 I think what Xavien Martin means is that because Jen is not in crisis the story doesn't require a lot of time to explain what is happening at any given moment and in world a lot of time is passing. I.e. "fast paced."
For example In The Avengers from the time Loki is captured on the Helicarrier until the end of the movie, all of that takes place from morning to mid afternoon in one day.
She-Hulk episode 2 takes place a few months after most of episode 1 and while Jen is looking for a new job it seems like maybe a couple weeks have gone by. Something like Hulk flying off to Sakar would normally happen at the end of a film because you can imply that some time has passed (enough time for Hulk to sort that out) but here it can happen in the story because a lot of time is passing as the story is being told.
If that is not what Xavien meant by fast paced I'm sorry but that is what I got out of it.
no
Anyone else miss Ed Norton’s Hulk 😞, I was hoping they re-introduced Betty and use her as their reason for World Breaker Hulk. They could also have Matt Murdock suing She Hulks law firm on behalf of Harlem as he is a well-known public servant after taking down Kingpin, freeing Spider-Man and Lucky Hogan of all charges. Using his Daredevil persona to confront the morality of what She Hulk is doing much like he did to Punisher.
yeah they still haven't mentioned betty in the mcu at all. and they need to show us other defenders besides daredevil.

Here is something in Blonskys explanation that is missing, or more an Omission. While "WE" know that he got his original dose of S.S.S. (Super Soldier Serum) from Ross, her did NOT become Abomination until he got that synthesized Banner gamma blood compound from "Mr. Blue", which had the unforseen physical result of turning him into Abomination... So I wonder if in researching his case for his defense, she discovers this... what do you think? that could introduce "the Leader" to the MCU...
you could argue that the side effects of the S.S.S caused him to become somewhat unhinged leading to him then taking The Banner Blood Compound.. not an excuse more a mitigating factor in a complicated series of events..
Much like were more forgiving of Bruce for the actions of the Hulk when the Hulks personality takes the wheel.
@@johntowers1213 A case child be made that he's not culpable for his actions as he was under the effects of mind altering substances administered to him by the US Army.
That line about him being a completely different person now literally. That made me laugh but the ending got me excited.
Been waiting all day for this video!! Tim Roth is such a badass actor!! I can't wait to see more!!!!! Thanks, Charlie!
Thanks! We'll get a lot more Abomination next week too!
@@emergencyawesome I'm so happy they brought him back. It was unfair that he got sidelined because Ed Norton was such a diva. This is more than a redemption for abomination. This is redemption for Tim Roth!! He absolutely made the villain that made hulk look INCREDIBLE! 😀
Favorite easter egg was "a man with claws coming out his hands gets into bar room brawl"
I feel her breaking the 4th wall in the Office was a bit too much. But it was still fun. Her new boss was talking to her and she practically didn't stop talking to us. That's kinda awkward.
What I like the most in the episode was Emil's story to defend himself.

Yeah, I always love to see Tim Roth in anything. Even cooler when he is reprising a role
That’s where i became a huge fan of him. Love *Lie To Me*

Loved the Hulk's line about being a completely different person! as to where he's going, good question. I'm inclined to think that they will revisit the Sakaar storyline and that there may be a hulk junior out there somewhere. Great episode, can't wait to see what happens next.
The part where Jen and Bruce are on the phone and Bruce says "I'm a completely different person now, LITERALLY" I hollered 🤣
Love this series! Just hate how short these episodes are ;( I wish Marvel would just release the whole season on day one if the episodes are going to be that brief

@@santiagoferrari1973 it was too short, I agree but we shouldn't rush it, it has 9 episodes anyways
Awesome episode, loved all the Hulk easter eggs and really hoping the Hulk's trip to Sakaar leads to a solo Hulk film. Would love to see more action time for Mark Ruffalo. He's an og hero, but I've feel like he's had far less screen time then all the other characters, even the newer ones.
I couldn’t agree more. Marvel has not given the Hulk the proper treatment that he deserves in the MCU
My fav Easter egg was when they referenced hulk’s previous actor by saying “ I’m a completely different person now, literally”.
Is there a timeline error? Because the clip from Shang Chi happens at the beginning of the film (Shang Chi), and then during this episode Bruce flies back to Sakar, but then the post-credits scene of Shang-Chi has Bruce in human form and (most likely) on Earth?
Since Bruce still has his hand injured from Endgame in that post-credit scene, and we don't know when exactly Blonsky escaped the prison (the newsreader only mentioned the leaked video, where he's fighting in some sort of underground fighting club or something), it's safe to assume, that the events of the whole movie, including the post-credit scene, take place way before She-Hulk (as Bruce's hand healed in the first episode) and that in the 3rd episode the video of that fight leaked on the internet.
I loved how Bruce was like “I’m a completely different person now, literally”
and I was wondering for a while if they were ever going to address how abomination was fighting Wong in Shang-Chi 🤣
U mean Wong not Chang
@@gluteusMAXlMUS thanks!
"Completely different person - literally." I actually LOLed at that.
How is Hulk getting cellphone service all the way out in space? I need whatever plan he's got!
Tim Roth made a great comeback! (Real comeback. Ik he was in Shang chi 😅😉) Hope they do him justice in the next eps and set him up for the Thunderbolts🙏🏻😀
My favorite Easter Egg: "That fight was so many years ago, I'm a completely different person now. Literally!".
This episode was so good! Thanks for the breakdown.
My pleasure!
I really like this show and this channel thanks bruh for being the MCU central brain..thank all of you
Thanks dude!
The show's Producer confirmed (today) that all of Shang-Chi takes place *before* She-Hulk.
Not by much. Like a week~
Hence the arm sling Bruce/Wong chat, and sling until car crash.
.
It just took a while for the Abom/Wong combat clip to leak online and spread.
It is a secret underground fight club, after all. They aren't live streaming fights to ESPN, or they'd have Interpol knocking at their door.😉
Now that Emil is in the news for his possible parole opportunity, his haters may have leaked that clip to tarnish him and lower his chances in court.
... and that's also why we'll be seeing Wong. He's an active witness.
I appreciate you’re as positive about these shows as I am in general. The hate for the recent Disney shows is so unbearably strong.
Because most of them are pretty meh at most. Especially the Star Wars stuff. But this?
It’s not that bad. Pretty nice even.
You’re a pathetic loser.
I would say otherwise
As it relates to this episode, I’m really hoping that we get a world war hulk storyline on the come up! Mark Ruffalo has stated that he’s down to do the movie so 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
WWH,,,,with this stand up comedian version of the Hulk? I don't think so.
@@theblackflame4002 I get the story arc with him and I for one as a fan of storytelling, I find it interesting…BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! Lol WE NEED THE BERSERKER RAGE HULK BACK😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😒
I think the biggest omg/Easter egg moment was when she hulk was chatting with Hulk on the sakarian ship, leaves it open to wonder if this is setting up just more phase 5/6 content (ah La, secret invasion) or possibly even setting the stage for the hulk movie. Really excited for these next two phases!
Lmfao “im a completely different person now “ took me out 😂😂😂
My favorite Easter egg in this episode was for sure when they broke the 4th wall and mentioned the recast! 😅 Just perfect. Bring on Deadpool MCU
breakdown is longer then the actually episode
I love in the job interview montage how the backgrounds get less and less presentable because literally no one would hire her. It starts off with bookcases and gets worse from there with the last one being a back room looking place.
This is what recast T’Challa would look exactly like.
I hear from someone that worked on the set, that wolverine is set to appear in the season finale. Though they don't mention mutants or xmen, just the name Logan...
swearrrrrr!!!!!
Right after her reference to Eternity @10:48, her dad also called out “the thing”, that got my Fantastic 4 radar pinging 😂
Loved all the teasers! Great job Charlie, always love your videos!
No problem! I was surprised to see the Wolverine easter egg.
When I saw the prison breakout scene in the show I figured She-Hulk takes place around that period in the MCU timeline with the Shang-Chi film. Can’t wait for episode 3 next week!
I initially thought the same, that ep 3 takes place at the same time as Shang-Chi, but the newsreader only mentioned a video on the internet, which could leak several weeks, or even months after that fight. And nowhere is it mentioned, that Emil broke free the last night, they only acknowledge thanks to that leaked video, that he broke out of the prison. It could have been yesterday, it could have been 3 weeks ago, it could have been a month or two.
@@Croftice1, exactly. It could’ve been at any point in that part of the timeline. 3 weeks or 3 days. Who knows?!
All the nods back to the Incredible Hulk movie are pretty funny and cool!! I’m so interested and hyped to see what’s next for Hulk!! I really enjoyed this episode!! It’s pretty crazy Wolverine has been confirmed to be in the MCU!! It would be pretty sick and fire if he was introduced in a new hulk movie!! When Emil mentioned the 7 friends and that he’s STILL on loan to the government, that whole part immediately made me think of the Val Character! He’s definitely up to something else. I also loved the Hawkeye and Infinity reference!! Every time I hear the word “ infinity”, I flashback to Thor 4. I absolutely can’t wait for another episode!!
why did Jenn's family ask her questions about superheroes/hawkeye's arrows when they have Bruce to ask? have they not spoken to him since he became a hulk?
This episode has so many meta jokes, so funny !
Yep! It was easter egg city.
That poop thing is true. If you ever worked in a building there's always at least one good bathroom to poop 💩 in.
I loved the reference to the celestial that stands out from the earth in eternal, at the same time as the reference to Wolverine, the Thunderbolts and also Planet Hulk... amazing. And everything little by little without hurry, the good thing is made to wait. Very happy with the series and the actress. 👍
all they were missing was to play the familiar sting from xmen 1992 while showing that screenshot 😄
A friend caught this early. He laughed and said "It's the same guard from Silence of the Lambs!", then she made the liver and fava beans joke.
Brilliant episode!!! So so funny with so many easter eggs and line ups! This is way up there with the best MCU series.

I love when Hulk takes a shot at Edward Norton and says he's a whole new person now😅
I really enjoyed this episode! Also, I spotted that in the bar she's drinking in where she gets hired the TV is playing Allie McBeal.
Isn't it a bit of a continuity error when they show Abomination from Shang-Chi after it's known that Hulk is already on a ship to Sakaar? His arm is already healed during this timestamp of She-Hulk but in the Shang Chi post credits, Bruce says "Welcome to the circus" with his arm still in the sling.
IKR? I haven't had time (or bothered) to check if the Shang-Chi cage match scene is the same footage as in the She-Hulk clip. If it's different, it is possible that this was a totally different sparring match that happened later on. If not, then it looks like a continuity error.
@@QuestionMan yes! even if it was a different match (which It doesn’t look like it is) still doesn’t explain why Bruce’s arm is still damaged in the Post Credits & also does he hologram message with the team on that ship?
@@ULATAN. Based on what Charlie said, I imagine the other option is related to the timeframe. It's hard to say how much time had past from when Shang-Chi happened and when the clip was released and went viral. Maybe it took a while. Maybe somebody was sitting on it.
@@QuestionMan that would be an acceptable explanation if we are able to forget how fast footage can go viral in our world. I hope we find out why next week.
@@ULATAN. yeah maybe it just took a few months for the video to go viral.
Prob cause it was an illegal underground club? Idk but thats literally the only way it makes sense.
Theory time: when Bruce mentioned something was "different" about Jennifer's blood, I wonder if it is a "Mutation" it would obviously lean toward the next phase and Marvel pension to build stories slowly with of course a tramatic/dramatic end game..
gamma radiation effects everyone differently thats all he was saying
Awesome how "Cousin" Larry is in a series with lots of cousins.
Something happens on Sakaar to convert back to regular Hulk he lands back on Earth confused and Wolverine is sent out to grab him
Bruce Banner is going to be on the next episode of Intergalactic Murray to take a DNA Test.
I think I need an explainer on how Bruce has his broken arm during the post credit scene of Shang-Chi. However, when the news of Abomination is going against Wong pops up, Bruce has already left earth and fixed his arm.
Was thinking the exact same thing, can’t seem to see anybody else talking about it
I thought that happened earlier on. Like Wong breaks him out for a fight, then he goes back. So it could have been a week, 2 week, 2 months ago. But because the case is about to go to trial, then the footage was released
@@deanekennedy3290 yeah I don’t know if this is taking place shortly after Shang-Chi. Usually in real life controversial events or cases you see footage surrounding someone come out in t he public are getting mass reported by the news when it was initially ignored
Who says that fight happened recently?
2 tiny things you missed
1st. The boat behind her new boss is the same boat from Indiana Jones that got chopped up. Not sure how it fits, Disney just putting more in?
2nd you paused on a scene that had pictures behind her. In the white framed one directly behind her is drawn in the same way that the court room drawing is done. That is a very proud hero victory stance
Been waiting all day for this ‼️
Thanks!
When there was talk of Hulk destroying a city, I thought more of Sokovia than Harlem. I think they just destroyed a neighborhood (or 3) in the Hulk movie.
Maybe at the end of the season we get a hint or tease at what Hulk is doing?…the series is great and enjoy this breakdowns after watching the show.
When she said "adult orphan" I thought she was referring to Danny Rand aka Iron Fist.
Hopefully we get a 4th wall conversation with deadpool and She Hulk one day lol
That would be cool!
Marvel comics in MCU makes so much sense i didn't even see that easter egg. Thank you
This episode was better than the last
My favorite Easter Egg is the unorthodox scene of Jen’s obsession with Steve Rogers intimate life… so much so that when her mom sends her a text there’s footage of Steve’s “gluteus maximus”. 🤣
Her eyes in the opening scene gives me the creeps!
I liked the moment when she's on the phone to hulk talking about taking the case and hulk mentioned how he's a completely different person since abomination tried to kill him.
I am a little confused about how the Shang-Chi scene plays into the MCU then, because we see Abomination has broken out to fight at the Golden Daggers Club from this week's episode. So that would place She-Hulk in that same time period BUT we just saw Bruce's arm heal and him leave to go to Sakaar. So, when does the Shang-Chi end-credit scene take place as we see Bruce's arm still in the sling at that point.
I also pointed that out, as soon i finished the episode i was like "What? did I miss something?
They mentioned when the clip was shown that it had "surfaced" which I assume means it had leaked online after some time and hadn't literally just happened
@@TheBadgie17 I see what you’re saying but if he escapes and then the next thing they show is when she’s on the phone with Holloway within that “end of the day” period to tell him that she was going to take the job, and THEN the fight comes up with the news broadcast, then wouldn’t that be more so an immediate occurrence vs something that was in the past? Just my thoughts but I think there is a real disconnect in what was being shown. Hopefully we get some answers 😊

I don’t care what anyone says, i think this is one of the best shows the MCU has come up with so far. This has a lot of longevity.
I think that Sakaaran ship is Hulk's baby momma looking for child support. Good thing Jen's a lawyer.

I feel like what they’re gonna do with Hulk is take him back to Sakaar, potentially have him spend even more time there with his son and family (min 1-2 in universe years), which will lead to the planet somehow getting destroyed by The Avengers, or the mcu would probably make it a mistaken identity to avoid framing The Avengers in a bad light.
I really want savage hulk back hopefully he will for the avangers movies
If this takes place around the time as Shang Chi when Abomination is in the cage fight, there's a continuity error because the teaser at the end of that shows Bruce with his arm still in a sling talking to Wong and Capt Marvel. He was already healed months before based on the time jump in She-Hulk practicing law after the accident. Unless Wong pulled him outta time. No-Prize? LOL
😱😱😱
I thought the same thing, depending how much you want to suspend your disbelief I have a potential solution, the footage from the fight wasn’t leaked immediately
It's either an error, or the fight/breakout didn't just happen, rather the footage just leaked.
I assumed it was a recording which has just surfaced. It wasn't a live feed was it?
Yeah I assume it was released purposely right before the parole meeting to jeopardize his chances
Continuity error. Bruce Banner's arm is still messed up in the end of Shang Chi LOT10R. His arm is fixed at the beginning of the She Hulk series ep1. Abomination was in fight tournament in the middle of the Shang Chi movie which happens at the end of ep2 She Hulk.
That was 1 to 1 my thought too. And I had to scroll way too far to find someone write this. I love the show and the jokes, but this Continuity error really grinds my gears 😬
