What the point for BenQ to create an streaming dongle when there are so many cheap options (Roku, amazonfireStick,,,) that supports all streaming channels ??
Hiya, just watched your review I have this projector. Firstly, they don't ship with dongle installed because some people do not want to use the Benq Dongle. I use the Nvidia shield pro, which has way more options available and with the built in AI upscaler, it takes SD content and brings it to a near 4k experience. It is plugged into my av receiver. Secondly, what year are you living in dude? HDMI cables are not necessary. I use a a hdmi sender and reciever. Out of the display port in the AV receiver and into the hdmi port in the Benq. I use skylarx. No wires, 4k resolution, no lag...cables are history! Perhaps you may want to check hdmi sender's on Amazon....
This is now the second review that you say you cannot use bluetooth speakers on Benq i (x1300i, TK850i) line of products. Because of the included Android dongle QS1 this allows you to connect bluetooth speakers. Please try it
Great video. I was wondering if you can compare TK850i with viewsonic px748-4k and also on TK850i, will I be able to use a firetv stick inside instead of android TV ? I have money to buy TK850 but I do not want to if I am not getting anything great over px748. It will be very helpful to know the value and how better Benq is....
Hi Andy. Not considering the sound. Which projector so you like better for the image and day to day use. This one or the epson home cinema 3800? You seemed more enthusiastic about the Epson.
I run a HT group and facebook and Benq send them out to people that test this stuff. Unfortunately this guy doesn't know as much about the unit or projectors when reviews them...
I literally connected my sound bar and subwoofer to the projector today. So your review is great but your absolutely wrong with regards to connecting the projector to a Bluetooth speaker.
Why didn't you think to hook up your hdmi cable from your telus or shaw tv box and watch Netflix that way, just like you would run it through your actual TV 🎤 ⬇️
get an apple tv and pair sonos beam with sub and 2 apple homepods stereo with dolby atmos. everything is wireless through airplay 2. only thing connected is apple tv

Great review 👍. I’ve got Netflix on my 4K DVD player sooo no dramas here 👍

Audio-wise. I believe it's got HDMI arc? So should be able to connect speakers through your apple tv and potentially sonons? No?

I wish BenQ would give these review units to people who are able to comment on the 3D performance.
I have one it works good

If you use an AppleTV4 to feed your projector, it is able to correct the lip-sync! until it fits!

The android control that comes with it does control the projector, get your info straight...
