RESULTS TIMELINE If you guys are watching this, then I am sure that most of you, if not all of you, are curious to see the results of others while you're waiting for yours. Therefore, here is my kit's timeline from the moment I bought it and until I've gotten my results. Order placed. 16 dec 2018 The DNA kit has been shipped. 17 dec 2018 The DNA kit has been activated. 21 dex 2018 (it did arrive 1 day earlier thou, but I activated it only the following day). Samples received at the lab. 10 jan 2019 DNA extraction in progress. 17 jan 2019 Microarray process in progress. 27 jan 2019 (it might be off by a day or so) Raw data produced. 1 feb 2019 The results are available.
The south region (Oltenia) usualy score very high on european balkan entnicity (between 75% up to 90%) and a small part on european greek entnicity (between 15% up to 20%). I know this because I am from the extreme south Oltenia miself and I wached a few DNA results on UA-cam. The people from the south are far less mixed with the other european entnicities. For me is not realy a surprise because evan to this day people from the south end up dating and merry among themselves (atlest the romanians from older generations but evan in the new generations is still mostly the same). I guess we romanians from the south are leazy when it comes to dating outside of our region.😀😁😂 Transylvania has usualy more of a mix of other european entnicities.
Nowadays in Transylvania many are mixed is because Romanians have migrated to the bigger cities, to study at university and just settled in there (an example would be Cluj)
This proves that balkan does not mean slavic!! Because Romanians are not slavic people. Eastern European means slavic, Balkan means early indigenous tribes from the Balkan Peninsula

I have a coworker who is from Săcel, Maramureș. Apart from the height, you basically described him and most of of the people from there. Germans (sași) used to live there. I am sure that you have some of their genes.
Transylvania is predominantly Central European genetically despite increasing amounts of Romanians moving there. It still has a large number of Central European gene pool coming from Hungarians, Germans, and other Central/Eastern European ethnic groups living in Transylvania (Romanians are predominantly Balkan genetically).

My great-grandma was born somewhere near Cetatea Alba (Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi) and after a little bit of google, gagavuz people live somewhere in/close to that area. So it is possible that i got some of their genes from my great-grandma. Kinda cool to learn more about my possible heritage.
and Gagavuz lack any east eurasian dna. They are only balkan, most related to the Bulgarians, but with even less Mongoloid (none). Only their language is Turkic
xeonome Nice. :) More people from Transylvania were posting their results lately, which is great cause now we can compare them with eachother. With this company I am scoring 89,2% Balkan, plus 4,4 Ashkenazi Jewish (I see we are also sharing this ethnicity), and then some small amounts of North and West European, North African, Finnish and West Asian (you can see the full result on my channel).

Si totusi este. Multi romani erau obligati/incurajati sa aiba nume maghiare. De exemplu Ion Szabo. Cand am anexat Ardealul, multi au trecut la nume romanesti. Ion a renuntat la numele de Szabo, si a adaugat escu la numele de Ion, numindu-se Ion Ionescu. Asa s-a intamplat in cazul familiei mele.

This results are normal. The Romanians are Balkanic people. (First mention of the Romanians/Vlachs around Shkodra. South Balkan in 11th century). Then more and more migrated to the north Macedonia Albania Serbia Bulgaria and finally in present day territory around 13rd century. Also the Romanians have related nations in Balkan.
Stop spreading false information. Balkan genes refer to the Thracians and Illirians and many Hungarians also have an important percentage of Balkan genes.

Punjabis have nothing skandinavian,they are not even european and are not white, closest racially relatives of europeans and genetically are midle estern peoples who live around mediteranean sea(not arabs)but still have total diferent genes but are only closest relatives compared to rest of peoples

Cool results! My mom is of Oltenian and Transylvanian DNA and she will take a dna test and i'm excited for the results. I'm from Norway btw🇧🇻
