      tried doing 15lb in the first part, then mixed in 10lb in prone exercises and now thinking i should've gone 10lb the whole first part. it could help me focus on technique better. 5lb second part and it was a killer

    Loved it. Only problem: I started too heavy on those bent-over positions, and my lower back did not like that. I had to reduce weight and modify the rest of those bent-over exercises. The rest of the workout went great!

      @TomPetoTraining  Рік тому +1

      Yes can be tiring on lower back. Reducing weight is easiest switch as you said. I find a weight lifting belt helps with these longer sets. Or doing the reverse flys / rows prone on an incline bench if you have one works great 👌🏼💪🏼

    I love this training sessions and i am inching myself up to your mentioned weight😂 One general question: 30 sessions over 6 weeks, that means 5 per week (Monday to Friday) with the weekend rest. Did i get this right?

    • @TomPetoTraining
      @TomPetoTraining  2 місяці тому

      Yes, 5/week. Can be done in order but what ever days for your schedule. I’ve provided an example / suggested schedule for what days to do the workouts in the program guide available in the description of this workout 👍🏼💪🏼

    Welp, I got up super early and *just* did another workout before you posted this, fml. Though... I think I might have to do this one in a 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off format when I get around to it because I can't downsize my heavy dumbbells without disassembling the suckers and I don't want to pull something 😁

    • @TomPetoTraining
      @TomPetoTraining  Рік тому +1

      😂 well done. Invest in more dumbbells if you can, always worth it 💪🏼

    • @aquana
      @aquana Рік тому +1

      @@TomPetoTraining Finally got around to it! Trust me, I'd love to invest in more dumbbells but I live in Hungary, and with our low income and crazy inflation, a pair of mid-weight dumbbells I'd need to slot in when my adjustables are too heavy and my lighter ones are too light would cost me... well, I'd say an entire month of utilities lol and food is also crazy expensive. So for now, improvising it is.
      It works out though, I just have to stop earlier with the heavies when I can tell my form is starting to become an utter mess. Thanks for the workout, I'll probably have some questions about drag curls at some point because I... just don't get what the big deal is but I'm trying to avoid comment spam hahah.

      @@aquana went to Budapest recently and prices definitely higher than a few years ago. I heard about very high inflation & pray things stabilise for you all!

    Any reason why you no longer tell us the weights you'll be using at the beginning?

    • @TomPetoTraining

      No, thanks for feedback. I’ve now added it to this video description & will try to always include it there if not mentioned in the intro 👍🏼
