The people who made the Halo TV series admitted that they wanted to tell their own story. So they had the Halo IP. But decided to tell a story that wasn't Halo. Forward Unto Dawn is, imo, the only true Halo series. (Basically, a TV movie that was originally released in part.) It is actually SUPER GOOD.
I didn't like the first half of Forward Unto Dawn, probably because I was active duty military and it was so comically bad at presenting military behavior, even for an academy. But the second half of it was amazing. That team knew how to sell a Halo live action battle.

Watching some of these that I have seen parts of or not at all after all these years is crazy. And watching those I do really takes me back and leaves me breathless for a moment. I bet I still have some of the VidMaster challenge explanation videos from ODST on my 360 hard drive. Don't ask me how to find them by memory, but I remember being able to download it and would watch it sometimes just for fun. It's amazing how like one comment on stream said that the marketing is sometimes better or exceeds some games itself. I remember in Halo 5 listening to the Hunt the Truth marketing and actually being excited, even though the game didn't turn out that way at all. It's crazy how when you really try, and put more than just money for fancy graphics into something, you can make something that transcends the game itself and is remembered years later.

Even if the ends justify the means, which seems to be her only defense, her ethics, morals, and methods are beyond redemption. shes a complex character, and how you feel about her says alot about you.
That last ad was typically found in like magazines, and how it is read as if Chief was gone, but I always really loved it because I read it as being because he rarely spoke in the games and because of that his actions spoke louder than any kind of words would if he spoke.
Hall landfall was such an amazing trailer because it’s _dripping_ with Halo atmosphere. The hellish struggle and loss of life, for the sole objective of relaying Master Chief’s landing site. That’s just how significant he is to the UNSC.
