I personally think it was a bit to much, like they wanted him to suffer but didn't know how so they kept adding betrayal on top of another betrayal and another and even another one... Just to make his background as pitiful as they could. Honestly, I think 2 betrayals would be enough... But 4 in total is a bit to much in my opinion. I personally like the character's stories to have decent amount of suffering without exceeding to much of that overly suffering, if that makes sense?

The song is called Oshakashama by RADWIMPS, and with the context of the song, it's basically Scaramouche's view on Gods and think he will be a better God while being raw on his emotions just to stop existing anyway.
Everything is so symbolic that someone who doesn't know the storyline would find this video quite... strange from an outside perspective. (Like at 0:32 where the statue is probably one of Ei's, how 4 of the 7 archons are hung to his fingers at 0:48, and 1:22 which I can't really explain in words but very symbolic, and 1:32 where to some people we just see him get shoes but to people who know the story it's a timeline of his life, 1:40 where Haypasia just looks like some random yandere girl but it's his POV of his first follower, 1:43 when we see people who changed his life, from 1:55 reference to the cutscene, 2:11 "The Wanderer" in Nahida's temple of Wisdom or at the same timestamp, electro to anemo, representing the Baladeer and Honda/Wanderer, to name the most noticeable of details.) Amazing video!
HONDA KILLED ME IM SO SORRY😭😭😭😭swriously though, i can confirm all of these and also add on 1 - many cutscene and teaser details are included. 2 - scaramouche has ball joints, characteristic of a marionette and befitting to his nature as a puppet. 3 - his shadow transitions into irminsul, signifying his self-deletion and rebirth into the wanderer. 4 - as you mention, yes, this is the statue of the seven of beelzebul as shown in game. 5 - his constellation "peregrinus," translating to "wanderer" or "pilgrim" is shown. 6 - the four archons shown is a direct reference to how the fatui has both indirectly and directly thwarted the entire concept of the archons ruling teyvat thus far. 7 - here, he has the gnosis which miko gave him in exchange for the traveler's life. 8 - this is not a confirmed occurrence, as all beelzebul wished to do was prove that puppets could exist. what i think is more plausible is that since we know pure elemental energy can have a consciousness, the gnosis itself averaged out a possible form from a pool of existing human-like figures, such as dolls, etc. this would also explain the fact that he sustains the same red eyeliner no matter which incarnation he takes, of which i tend to see a lot of in japanese makeup. why do i note this? because it's not only is it more obvious on him than other inazuma characters, it still remains after his data is wiped. seems like a design choice on whatever actually made him's end, not his own. 9 - you're absolutely right, and that's because he's disgusted at what he's become from a means to an end built on lies. 10 - where dottore throws the book into the fire, seeing what it transitioned from, this is a metaphorical depiction of the first and second betrayals. 11 - in particular, his shift from the kabukimono into the sixth harbinger, and later the basis for shouki no kami the prodigal is a hard-hitting sequence no matter how you look at it. dottore is truly a sickening person who twisted someone's own misunderstandings into an opportunity to manipulate them into both dependency and further nihilism from the get-go. 12 - where do i even begin with haypasia. 13 - the mirror of mushin transitioning into a sumeru anemo vision is direct symbolism of the wanderer's previous dependency on a "heart" and his desire to bear the electro gnosis due to his origins turning into a sensation of release. prove me fucking wrong so anyway, i like this a normal amount

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! I keep on going back,. This portrays basically his life as a puppet up until now. The way he was a test subject for both Raiden and even Dottore. No one ever see him because he is on the underground all the time (he's the test subject on all of Dottore's experiments) that's why when Mona foreseen that he is a harbinger (unreconciled stars), he's very shocked and wondered how did she know. I think being anemo suits him very well after all he spent his life being manipulated. Freedom is what he seeks the most and now he got it. Having a new life in a "new" or pretty much cleanse body (he's still the same. Rukkhadevata said it was "incarnation" meaning same person different persona/body. One of a series of lifetimes that a person spends on earth) would be great cause he won't feel the freedom if his "old body" his going to use to start a new life. Scara's story is one of the best genshin's written character so far. I'm looking forward to other characters and their story as well. LOVE IT!
