Great job, ladies!! ❤ I was obsessed with shrinky dinks as a child. I must put this project on my list of Maymay Inspired Projects To Do. I have a sister in Florida and she'd love the flamingo ornament, and my baby sister would go gaga over the gnome one. It will be so much fun to make several for our tree. I also love to hang ornaments around the house for added charm. Thanks so very much.
Shannon if you cut one continuous strip of foam tape and take both sides of the paper off it will go around the circle very easy, better than cutting small pieces. Very cute.
Those ARE super-cute! Oh, you ladies have given me ideas for completely different things, but I'll definitely have to try the snow globes, too. Thanks!
Great job Shannon. Those are adorable! I think I'd color the edges too before baking the images. Can also punch a hole into the little message before baking. That way it can be like a little charm to tie up at the top with the ribbon. You got my mind thinking. Time to go and dig out my shrink plastic. P.S. when we were kids we were poor. My mom would go and ask the butcher for " liver lids". The tops that would fit onto the container of liver. He still them to us for .01 each. Mom would by .25 worth. She'd had us draw our design with Her Sharpie markers. We'd bake as you did. Those were what we'd decorate our Christmas tree. We also made little charms for my sisters birthday bracelet. Fun memories. Thanks.
I love these, I will definitely be making some of the shrinky dinks for embellishments. Thank you for the inspiration. I still have ornaments that I made from shrink film as a child.
These are SO super cute!!! I think you're right, this would make really awesome shadow box items. Can you imagine all the things you can do with your stamp sets? I love the gnomes. I really need to get that stamp set, if I haven't already. Thanks so much for sharing. 💗💗💗
I used to make charm bracelets from this. When you go to bake them, put a piece of parchment or wax paper down to put them on, the use the next size smaller pan in a nested set, on top. This keeps all your pieces flat with no worries about edges. Use a whole punch, I'd you want to make a charm.
@@MaymayMadeIt i think there is a difference in pigment based paint and dye based colors like markers. Pigments are more lightfast. If I tried it I'd use pigment
Shannon, that is the MOST ADORABLE ornament I have EVER SEEN!!! Well done! Thank you so much!!

You did a great job Shannon
If you want a shiny finish you can use glossy accents. This brought back alot of fun childhood memories with my children.
FANTASTIC! Can you imagine the embellishments you can make for cards & albums!?! 🥰

I love it! So stinking cute!
This would be cute as a shaker; like snow in a globe.
Love it! Great job! Very cute :)
Very insightful...love it! Now I need to look for the shrink film:)
👏Shannon and Maymay💚💛🧡❤️🤎🐿🍂
Colored pencils work also.
So sweet🤗
This turned out so cute. Need to find my Shrink plastic! 🤗
Have you tried shrinking with a heat gun? I’ve seen it done with the shrink film Christopher has.
Would the shrink film cut in the Scan N Cut??
That thumbnail made me giggle. It’s like “Honey, I shrunk the Gnomes.” xp
I think I've seen people using watercolor paints on these shrinky things too
I used water based markers on them with my kids at church and it didn’t last so I’d be careful with that.
@@MaymayMadeIt i think there is a difference in pigment based paint and dye based colors like markers. Pigments are more lightfast. If I tried it I'd use pigment
These are so cute! Do you think the scan n cut will work with this material?
Yes, you just need the deep cut blade unless you have the newest model
I can just jear Vinnie saying that isn't a solid 😂 could you use a heat gun w this brand shrinky dink?
Could you use the scan and cut instead?
What is the music you are using for this video?
I used my Cricut Maker to cut the stamps’ svg files and then stamped it.
Does anyone know if the shrink film can be cut on a Cricut?
