Very nice looking car, and $26 K is a good price I believe, since I also believe I looked up some '73s, +/-, fully restore and saw $35 K +, if not over $40 K . Out of my range right now. Reminds me of the '73 340 Magnum I once owned, not an SE. Mine was white, black vinyl top, white interior; had a steel hood w/the black highlighted bulge, auto w/ the console & floor shift. Brings back memories. Only one "thing" missing though; the girl I was dating & had gotten engaged to. Stupidity of youth--lost the girl, sold the car; USAF had sent me to the Philippines.
According to the undercarriage shot, there seems to be a heavy coating of asphalt. I guess that's rustproofing.
$25.00 gas = .0004 gallons, thanks Joe!
Stop it the ignorance needs to stop blame the greedy oil companies
I dislike Joe as much as you guys, but can we keep politics out of the comments pleaae?
@@maddpeanut6313 thank you we come on here to enjoy the muscle cars and we have to deal with nonsense
Keep you're political garbage out of here GROW UP.
@@alsimmons9975 nonsense? 6 dollars a gallon and it’s nonsense? It’s nightmare reality.
Looks great, sounds right, proper wheels and tires, nice complete car, has a few things to iron out but should be fairly easy stuff, definitely fix the alignment issue first, looks to me someone lowered front a little too much and never realigned it, these are the last of the big aggressive looking chargers and I think the value is going up on these.
Nice car. Its a 1973 Charger SE made up like an R/T. If its really a 383 thats not orginal motor. Probably came with a 318 or 400 new.
Love it when the car knocks the camera over. Doink ... Whoa... Very nice ride, probably needs more caster in the alignment.
Rear window louver would look good on it.
Very nice ride you don't find them this clean sure it's got some flaws but baby it's a hot 🔥 looking Mopar and it's American muscle at it's best 👍 Nick sweet ride.
So exciting that the horn works!Lol
Fun watching a test drive where a buddy tempted you.
Looks good but in person it would be rough. Needs interior work, paint, and some mechanical work. Nicely equipped. If you could live with it as, is it may be a nice deal. but will cost plenty to straighten it out where it won't be a deal anymore.
I wish muscle cars would be this cheap in Finland and the gas prices here are $10 per gallon.
Don’t worry, our gas prices are getting there 7bux in commiefornia thanks to
JOEY CAGES
10 BUCKS A GALLON ???....And we thought we were getting ripped off !!!
I was 17. Always amazing to see all the space to work on the engine compared to today.😮
I would like to buy . Will it make it back to Massachusetts? Or will I need to tow it .
Lack of return to center is usually low caster.
Super nice car. Surprised it hasn’t already been snatched up!
Another good looking mopar should sell fast. Sounds like a loose power steering belt.
I notice the gas allowance has gone up to $25 now. lol. Pretty nice MOPAR.
And the bad part is even at $25 its only half as much fuel as $20 was.
Not a fan of the 73 , but it can be done up right to be more desirable. The one in fast 8 was pretty sweet.
Since the 73 charger didn't come with a 383 is that a built 383
Sharp car
I like that song in the intro
You used to put 20 dollars in, I noticed that you are putting 25 dollars in now! Lol
Yeah, it’s weird. Before 2021 I was paying $40.00 to fill my truck, now I’m paying $80.00. I wonder what changed things.
Really nice car ,I think she'll be sold when I get up tomorrow and see this chanel again .
It’s the 400 cu in big block according to the insignia on the hood air scoop . Looks good., Nick.
The octane sticker was pretty cool
Excellent representation of my favorite muscle car!
Awesome car👍🏻
Beautiful Charger!!!! 👍👍👍
Pulls like a y wing fighter wow what a car fast stunning inside Nice and tidy motor great performance, colour gourgeus 😎 cool car 🤟 😊 😊 so much car for the money, thanks Nick great video stay cool 😎 😎 😊 🤟
Someone butchered the front door panels and the rear passenger seat panels by sticking after market speakers where they never existed. Back in the seventies we ALL had aftermarket speakers, but they were the kind that sat in rear window. No cutting required. Replacing those door panels will be a challenge.
It would be a challenge in a Challenger...but they can be charged easily on the Charger..😆
we sold our 1973 Charger SE with 400 magnum and my 71 Challenger RT rust free 383 Magnum with 34,000 miles both for 7,800.00 for both cars in 1990
It's an SE made to look like a Rallye Charger. 383 were long gone by '73. Probably a bigblock to begin with. Many modifications to work with. New owner go through it front to back and enjoy it! Temperature sending unit in block probably not working. Float and sending unit be replaced. Run a camera in tank for crud buildup. Great car!!
nice dodge but going to need some front end work the tires should not do that I had one of these back in the day and it will need that fixed quick.
Yo Clint ! Dave UK here sir 🏴 . I put the squealing down to the ‘ tracking ‘ being out of line . Or maybe you’ll say ‘ out of alignment?’ A simple fix if so ???
@@soultaff true sir out of alignment
Wait what?! The horn in a Grant GT steering wheel worked? Next up: Pump#10 never breaks again.
Nice! 😎👍
Needs minor work, but MEAN muscle car, here
This year Charger is my favorite. Mainly because of the smaller body. I do like the older ones but was never a fan of their length.
smaller body?? this is just about as big as the chargers ever got lol.
New feature on the channel:
Trans pan cam 😆
That's a nicely optioned car.
MOPAR!💙
👍
Shared this one in the "71-74 Roadrunner, Charger and B-bodies" Facebook group. Be interesting to know if someone from that group buys this.
wish they kept the original vinyl roof and chrome trims of the SE
Glad you mentioned why I haven't been seeing the updates, I've had to search! I fixed it.....I hope! Famous last words! LOL!
Right I don’t understand why thats happening
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate They keep trying to fix what ain't broken! Internet going down! Cell phones losing signal! Kinda makes you wonder, what the hells going on!? Thanks Russia!!
HALLELUJAH a horn that finally works
Good looking driver
This Mopar will be gone fast. Nice car man
Boom!!!! Nice ride😎
Nick another awesome ride! One thing that steering wheel does not work with that car not at all!! Get an original back in it that would make it drivable! It will sell quick!😁
Nick friend Hello looks like a very good Charger , I would just take care of few of the flaws especially with the water leak coming in the trunk so the car doesn't rust out underneath other then that very nice car 🇺🇸🇺🇸😃😃💪💪👍👍👍👍
I'm Lincoln in cape coral Florida
Ya got a spinin shaft 🏁 made me dizzy
She is a real Christine powerfull and just awsome saying lets go for a ride
That belt😵💫
Nice ride.
Show the little kids what a real Charger looks like
The a/c is probably why it has a belt squeak lol
It looks like, at some angles, one of the Aussie Valiant Chargers - only much bigger! _(7/9/2022)_
Overall not bad. The Windshield, belt, and tire squeal are the main issues. Also I am curious with that paint job if it is covering something or just a cheap MAACO.
Throw a few grand at it to get the issues addressed, and this is a nice weekend cruiser.
Nick, I have a 1972 I like to trade and buy that one.I love it.
I will be in touch.
i want that car love it sweet ride
Sweet Ride 👌😊😎Love the color
BEUTIFULL MOPAR
🙏👍😍♥️
Did I miss the oil pressure gauge that read half like he said pulling into the station? Every time I got a glimpse of it it was really low.
Door hinges need lubricant.
Motor sounds “ The Dogs Bollox “ Nick 👌! I really am buzzing to think in about 18 months time I’ll be in Memphis . Yes you probably guessed it . Gracelands , Sun Studios , Grand Ole oprey , blah , blah , blah 😂😂😂 . I really hope I’ll be not too far from Maple Motors . I’ll be made up to hook up . As always , a mighty fine appraisal Nick . Many thanks to you sir . Dave , Uk 🏴🇺🇸 ❤️💪
Wow that's hot 🔥 classic 🚗 🔥
👍😎😎😎
Nice MOPAR not a bad price looks like a decent car. Heck Yeah I'd buy it.
P.s I have cash . Please respond. I can fly down and drive back . Will it make it back to Massachusetts?
Call us Maplemotors.com
what is engine "//? 383 ? or 340 ?
/
I Didn't know Mopar made a 400 ... lol... that's a " 383 " the hood emblem is wrong ..they make ones that say "383 " and "440 " I had a 1969 GTX with a " 440" was super fast with headers 😊Was metal flack green
In the 1973 Rallye Charger (No RT that year). The only motors offered that year were the 318, 340 Magnum, 400 Magnum and the 440 Magnum. No 383, I also caught that!
I ordered a new 1973 Rallye Charger in October of 1972. Received it on December 18th, 1972, cost $4,250.00 straight sale, no trade in. Lost it in 1981 to a Hale Storm, it was completely destroyed! Back then there was no fixing it!!
In 1972 the 400 replaced the 383 motor. 1971 was last year for the 383.
Shes sharp!
The squeeling when turning is likely mismatched idler and pitman arms. Some idler arms are hard to come by and older mopars.
My dream car. Resto mod version tho.
I need this car.can you finance it with $500.down
Watching the video I noticed some things in that drive train including the Exhaust had some thought and money put into it
Very deep oil pan, nearly killed your camera. Do you know what's been done to the transmission? (Modifications) good look'n ride.
It's about time to show the underworld on a lift 💪.
Sweet 👍
Love it, absolutely love it..
Makes me all the more excited to build my '73 Charger SE Brougham....I already cleaned her up and got it started...now it's on. This helps me set a price range according to how far along I am when someone pulls out the wallet
Such a good deal.
Might want to to go this video Nik. There is a camera fopah when you drive over the camera...jus sayn
Saaaa weet!
nice
Who needs a hood latch when you have the pins?
TF8/727 transmission with deep pan,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Did I miss the wipers test?
Yep that car is perfect I want one just got to change two things if I had that car being red I'd get pulled over 10 times a day I'd probably go for lime green or neon orange or plum crazy anything but red I guess the good part about it is mine that I would like doesn't even have to be numbers matching or anything I'm just looking for a fun daily
👍 👍
😎
The hood says 440 magnum you set 383
The hood says 400, not 440. The 400, was a bored out 383. It has either had a engine swap, to a 383 or it's actually a 400, because they look identical.
@@rickhenson660 The 73 Dodge came with a 400 cu in . So yeah unless the original engine has been replaced then it will be the 400. Good thick cast block . Put in a 440 crank and do up the bottom end and watch her go.
It's not a package tray it's a grocery deck tredek keep doing a good job though son keep doing a good job
WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
👀...👍🔥😍🔥👍
How's the camera Nick it looked like problems
Its fine
Very beautiful amazing looking car thanks Nick have a very nice day mate
Too much tow on the alignment. Thats why it’s squealing
Don't hit the button if you're looking for something in the center console n
Nice looking car.
You don't still have it do you
👌💪👍
Damn 5 months ago where the hell was I at
did not say anything about the engine
Mopar or No Car
